that 1st pressing that came out 20 years ago ..the one that looks like a white label advance test pressing sold on ebay for over $100 the other day..plenty o bids on it,, they were £20 to buy.brand new. i got one and bought a mint dottie and millie on topper off same guy (dave appleyard) for £10

its a bit early for me barney and it sounds it......coz its by the drifters dont have nothin to do with it..i was listenin to my i`ll take you where the musics playin lp just yesterday..and SNATM is 6 years down the line.from drip drop. bill blacks combo is mid 60`s also..i dont dislike drip drop but i`m with pikey on this one as its a bit too early for the northern rooms imvho

i dont understand it... it came out in 1958 and to my ears its rock n roll... maybe a room for the early rnb 50`s sounds and a room for for soulful housey garage is the answer but not in main rooms..we are supposed to be a broad church tho a straight jacket is nearer the answer in the main rooms...i like a bit of diversity but think maybe this is a bridge too far

i would agree with you if the chunk was over the whole playing surface rod but 90% plays fine...each to their own .if it were $100 i might have bought it myself if only to double up on profit as a sell on

but richard its up to the individual how he/she spend their money even if we all think they are barking mad.. we all express opinions and maybe thats fine but when it starts getting personal thats not right as its got feck all to do with anyone..i mean whats a decent copy of this worth,,say 3000ukp..someone won the chipped copy for a sixth of that.......while its not for me personally i can understand if the winner of brads copy is feeling pleased with themselves. i am being a man of limited means all for buying beaters within reason as i may never get chance to upgrade

wow ..the last 12 months ian.....i think i first heard this about 8+ years ago and loads of times since...... i actually believe this copy would have sold for more if it hadnt been scutinised so much

probly worth the same as the rarest usa format as a rule.....i can remember seein one in the 90`s maybe worth £150 now

theres lots of printing errors like this in the new guide..dozens of boots listed at the same price as real uns.....not even sure why john lists the boots at all in this new book
