  2. the dutch tamla motown releases went from orange to black around august 1969 and used that design to 1972 when they went back to orange again for a while

  11. when i saw this thread i immediatley thought about the syreeta.....and its in there.....still not worth that kind of money although some do collect demo`s from this period and theres 3 in there though individuallly only worth a fiver each

  13. benji the belgian releases from around this period tie with the dutch and german catalogue numbers also, we dont have a release date guide in particular but theres that many of them we can pinpoint them down to the month in a round a bout way.......there will be release sheets somewhere i guess but we`ll not be far out
  14. we have a dutch good rockin by jr walker thats a 91#..issued in mid 1970 the festival time is a 93# dates to late 1971around the same time as uk release
  15. that means nothing ...people for some reason assume that to be the case and it is the `rarity` mentallity..but its not always correct

  18. happened to me once with a £25 record....guy got his money back ...........i got a book of 6 stamps not worth the bother
  19. i got to them just in time bob..visually some are very blotchy and others really burnt/bleached but they all play good...needless to say i thrown all the plastic covers in the bin..only gonna move them on for a few sheckles tho

  21. i just picked a handful of 45`s off the market with this problem bob. they were all in there covers but in thick plastic covers and had been for years.and probably never taken out,..they all look really cloudy but play perfect..
  22. probably just me that thinks its a racket...a very messy. record.i dont think itll do as well as eddie parker and i would say more original copies than eddie but most do suffer from jumping or distortion,,didnt gwen fetch a handful of copies with her when she was over?
