john phillips got a minter from andy dyson ...maybe via tim brown about 20 years ago..that copy also resides in oz now i wouldnt have thought the shine would be taken off this record...probably only 10 or so demo`s found up til now still a nice rare item shame it plays gwen owens wanted and needed...a bloody racket to my ears lol

almost broke big nationally in the summer of 67....made 50 odd on the billboard hot 100.. even got a belated uk release on stax in 1969

christ this thread is 6 years old and apart from butch`s copy all have changed hands and another 2 or 3 have surfaced

the ovations and herman harper are great buys at a tenner each

I think its worth 5 or 600 quid. Maybe held back because the karate copy is so readily availabie
