depends when you got into it i suppose out of the six tunes mentioned imperial c` is the best closely followed by tomangoes and moses smith.....salvadors the worst outta the bunch but none too shabby.. got to know all the sounds above with the exception of the mello souls within maybe four years after coming obsessed with the scene
orig is a motown white demo only from 1970 on red vinyl,,,,the yesteryear thingy would probably have been repressed a couple of times when it came out later on
i like connie..but in the 2nd part of the record theres someone really out of sync on the tambourine,,they need it to be taken off them
sweet magic one of my fave oldies
just checked and the instrumental on eastern is the longer version thats on soul pot so maybe soul pot 1st and maybe they wernt happy with the mix and shorterned/chopped it a bit.for the eastern 45.just a theory mind
the eastern copy has archer scratched in the matrix ...sold the soul pot copy so cant comment on that now
i assumed soul pot was a remix of eastern 45 could be wrong tho....eastern is a bit rarer but the way its going both will be common as muck..what a tune tho

me and my imagination b/w they say made no 40 on the rnb charts in the usa on the 25th february 1967...so if it was bootlegged in 1966 it would be nothing short of a miracle.... i dont think it came out in 65 at all. gold wax 114 is unnissued i think but 45 cat have it as big lucky carter `ohio bound`... the seller by the way is a friend of mine who only deals in originals
great record by the way
