To me the issue is not about the legislation or lack of it it is about enforcement and how that is structured and regulated -Universal losing a case well that in itself is very interesting bearing in mind their financial clout so you can bet your doller that a strong appeal may ensue but so what -its finger in the air imho "has the sex or race discrimination act stopped racism or sexism ? So the old law lords wait for the test case "which costs a bomb -with no recommendation that institutionally biased Judges make the right decison "there usually do screw up at some point lol,and then what back to the issue of enforcement !!! Dont understand the point re the sale of goods act also it was brought in to protect the customer first and foremost and I do beleive that the first copyright rule although frought with issues is a pretty solid principle,the article has got me thinking however about the wider issue of piracy and how does promotional give aways to radio stations etc fit in with the potential action? If thats one of the ones you need then let me know Baz....can have free of charge, will do as label filler until you get a cleaner one. I was thinking the same, but this often happens, see a record I sell for not very much being sold at high prices, e.g. I was still selling Stanky for a fiver when it was 50, Kent Meade for a tenner, I need to get out more. so many examples mate really over the last 5 years I do genuinely think this has got alot harder took me a long time to re-locate another and ive got a great net-work etc,anyway the 2 offers so far are well over A COUPLE OF HUNDRED but not what I want so its staying put if things dont improve -early days yet!! The cds wondervfully put together - imho -some real interesting things including Benny Gordon-larry banks and the bueatifully crafted bobby penn track!The Exception really threw me and was not expecting that at all-id say hats off to a job well done!!! BAZ A
