Thank you all for your very kind comments on the "Twisted Wheel Club". I have read some of the suggestions that we should play Wigan/Torch records in the second room?? That in some respects would be an across the board music policy (what you can hear anywhere) which I don't want and neither do the 100's of others who regularly attend the Wheel!! When I reopened the Wheel, 9 Years ago I wanted to recreate a nostagic Twisted Wheel night playing only Twisted Wheel back catalogue (1963 - 1971) records in the original, 6 Whitworth Street, Basement Club!! With nearly 600 people in at the last "Sunday Afternoon Soul Session" I think I have been successful and have achieved that (the reason for the 2nd room is purely the numbers of visitors that now attend and who want to listen to authentic Twisted Wheel sounds). Steve, Is there any chance you can email them to me also, if there aren't too many or too big file-size wise? (twistedwheel@tiscali.co.uk). I can then add some of them onto the February pics page on our website. FYI The guest DJ on Friday 27th is Nick Marshall from BBC Stoke, very knowledgable of the music and I'm sure he will do a great spot. Spike, I will start taking some pics on Sunday's but will probably upload them to the website along with the following Friday's pics. Sunday's now seem to be even better attended than the Friday's (The one before Xmas had 400+ in with about 200 locked out! - honest. There were 4x52 seater coaches turned up from the Midlands!) It will be good to include some pics to show how well-attended the Sunday sessions are. Sadly, the photos can't recreate that atmosphere. I think it is the ease of travel and being able to get home at a reasonable time that have made them so popular. Hope to see you Twisted Villagers soon, John.

Spike, Due to website constraints and not having any time to take pics [since it's so busy - over 320 in just after 4 o'clock!], I don't have any pics from the Sunday Soul Sessions. One of the visitors did take some photos but then left his camera in the cloakroom when leaving! If we can find his camera, I will get him to email them to me and forward them onto you.
