WTF! I am stunned. You have got to be on a wind up. Whats brave enough about it. Its not soul so why would you want to play it. There are literally thousands of real deal soul records to play.

Hiya All I have put this here as it is relevant to buyers and sellers. Is anybody here having trouble paying with Paypal. I have been told there is a glitch for some and not to try again for 24 hours. Could put a spanner in the works for sellers. I keep getting the authentication text, enter the code and back to the text over and over again. Trev

Its about time people realised that lots of us collected and played all of our A/B sides. This includes many now jumped on the Low Rider bandwagon sounds. It does get my goat that sweet and deep is a genre now swept under the carpet for convenience of the latest trend.I get that more people are becoming interested in slower soul and that is great but it becomes somewhat patronising when every sweet and deep record is now Low Rider. The West Coast scene taught us a lot but you can bet your bottom dollar they heard sounds from us and especially the Japs. Rant Over!

On what planet should this even be in the same room as Mary Wells. Christ on a bike!

Stopped selling abroad on Discogs. Originally part Discogs awkward new postage format that kept going wrong and partly covid. Still not posting abroad.Perfectly happy selling here rarely losing parcels and having to put up with all the VAT and other taxes crap. Still don’t think I’ve had covid either but a bitch of a stomach bug a couple of weeks ago knocked me off my feet.

Ticked on AVI US from me old buddy Aidey Pierce at Silver Fox. Still want a Canadian though.
-
Hiya Andy Totally agree with ya mate. Looking forlornly at my plastic UK labelled press awhile ago and no decent Canadian copies are appearing. And the old nobody knows it all adage now comes to the fore. I thought it was unreleased in US. Cheers for that my friend. Trev

My little girl and Where there’s a will there’s a way only came out on issue. Demos are A side both sides.
-
And wasn’t Mr Mancha lead on other side of the Holidays on groove city?
-
Nat T Jones on Wilstone is a new one on me.Wow! Both Esther grant and Pat Livingstone are Red Box publishing as well.Discogs has it as Wilshire? New York label. Have you seen a Wilstone copy or do you think it might have been leased to Goliath?
-
Earnestine Eady has normal issue and promo. Imperial Cs normal issue and White Demo on A side only.B side is orange.
-
It’s a DEMO. Wrong discussion!
-
I have a copy of My Baby on west coast issue as well. I wonder how many of this labels group releases made it out here. Obviously the major link is Monk Higgins who relocated? here late sixties.
-
I had a green Capitals autographed. Yes very hard. Now an issue I never thought I would ever see was Exits on black Kapp. That caused my eyeballs to bulge I can tell you.
-
Very nice. Black text are Demos but not many say DJ copy. I thing Watts 103rd Street states it. Never seen black Bobby Womack or Fidels.
-
Yes.The blue issue has Lets form a committee on the flip. The Demo is a different mix of the song with the Instrumental on flip on the issue. The Demo is mono stereo of vocal. I have both as they are as good as each other in my opinion.
-
I Paid £40 for Kim and £50 for Andre. For the amount of time I had been looking for them I was well pleased.
-
-
Yes. Although mine is about par with the one shown above.
-
I have a White Demo of Andre Maurice.Took me years and years to finally get one. Another toughie from that era is White Demo of I don’t know what foot to dance on,Kim Tolliver.
