True I concede I was wrong to say that but am frustrated. True. It was a discussion on the merits of sale on 4th before everyone went back to work and it all went Pete Tong. I feel that the onus on us buyers is to just suck it up and feel grateful.Not me I’m afraid.

First order 20 records. 18 turned up Not all of those came as ordered so will be going back for refund.Second order 12 records.We will see how many arrive and how accurate they are.Everything I ordered bar one was some form of M- . If I’d known on 27th Dec I was putting out £4,500 on a long term loan I might have thought twice. Luckily for me the first order was majority cost wise so have the money for my new boiler. Not having the items.Not sending the right items.Not keeping control of his stock wherever it is is obviously my fault.I am a bad customer!!! I just should be grateful that I had the opportunity to buy from his half price sale which made most items affordable and buy items I didn’t get from his gazillions of records in storage. Im off to lay prone at the altar of Johnny MANSHIP.

He would only have to delete manually on Discogs if he has sold the record elsewhere.Which he obviously does on his own website or at venues.If you have ordered and payed it is allocated to you and drops off his for sale items.Even if he lists a quantity of 10 in the checkbox of the same listing,it would go down to 9 available copies. Its all down to keeping everything up to date.

It’s getting tedious now. 27th delivery arrived. 2 short, 3 not what was ordered.Issue instead of demo (already have) They will be going back as soon as my 31st order is despatched, arrives and checked for incompetence.Another of his Discogs mistakes seems to be just lobbing his items anywhere.I order an item as vinyl release and get styrene.His whole operation needs an overhaul.Doesnt matter if its half price sale or not.No communication,no fulfilling of orders,not getting what does come right.Going back to chronological order, yeah like f..k.Not really listening to the MANSHIP apologists anymore.

Don’t make excuses for piss poor running of a business.If items are on Discogs for sale they should be for sale.Same for his website.I have never had this from other reliable main dealers like Tim or Darren Brown or Craig Moerer.When I finally get my 2 orders of records that will be me done with Manny.He won’t care but this time he has unfulfilled quite a few orders just by reading on here.That should perhaps make him think and get his chuffing house in order!

So order one from 27th on its way. 18/20. 2 main records I wanted out of stock.Will give my full opinion when I know about second order from 31st.It ain’t gonna be pretty though.It will be after I’ve Discogged him and emailed him.

Bit of a stupid comment really. He is just saying that people are receiving their orders earlier than him.Im in the same boat. Dont tell me that 5 days of posting is all from the 26th.In hindsight im sure John will think he started the sale a tad early.

I ordered on 27th and 31st from Discogs.Mainly because not everything was on his website.Still showing payment received. If what I have been reading on here turns out to be true and I don’t get a complete order I won’t be best pleased.I get that he is overwhelmed so will just wait and see.

Refund in the week because bought off Discogs. Manny will refund as order processed.Think there was a code which automatically refunded on his website. I did go to the website but not everything on Discogs was available on his site.

Well I bought a few bits because I thought that with 50% off I could get some reasonably priced tunes. Bearing in mind they are nearly all mint so all good.I haven’t bought off of John for years because his prices are so off.On Discogs often there are other copies from the UK cheaper and he is always a lot higher. The one I’m most happy with is a mint Louis Curry on Reel. I’ve paid £225. Only 8 sold on Discogs since 2017 and 6 were for £350 or more.

Probably true. When I used to trawl round Amsterdam looking for records there would be loads of strange bootlegs. Clyde Mcphatter on Audio Arts being one I remember distinctly!

Sonpau on Discogs had one up but a bit steep methinks. Always been a hard disc.

It’s that bad/ low fi recording it could have been on Fortune/ Hi Q. I really don’t dislike it, I’ve had several copies but just can’t seem to keep one.

Not all copies of the wind jump so you are ding well if you have a good copy. I was lucky I did.

Detroit tune. Had it a few times but never kept one. Poor pressing.
