I can't recall them at the Palais in the mid 70s but I suppose it depends what they clashed with as we would have always rather travelled than stay around home. Remember Hector and I've see on fb that he'd returned. Remember the Intercon too in the 70s playing northern- that's what became Tiffanys later isn't it? At the front of Vic Centre. Intercon wasn't allnighters then only a Tuesday night soul do though Sharon x

Just reading the nice words about the loss of Mona and thought about the night one of my lads came home from college some years ago saying that he'd been talking to an 'older guy' on his course who was telling him about Northern Soul - turned out to be Mona, and I think when my lad said his parents were into it too Mona used to share lots of tales from back in the day with him- the man lived and breathed the scene and there's not many left like him x RIP
