What a true gentleman spent some great times with martin talking records and football always great company especially Saturday afternoon at Hunstanton we're 9 times out of 10 swapping memories and trying to get each other to sell a record rip martin god bless you Yocky and mandy

Sad news I was lucky enough to meet both tommy and mandy at a friend's wedding years ago and spent 2 hours talking about his life and music a true gentleman highlight for me painthorpe country club 2002 tommy and Sidney barnes singing together on stage condolences to all Tommy's family great man Yocky

Hi does anyone know where I can get a couple if boxs for 7inch records 8×8×4 inch maximum 40 records ideally plastic I've loads of 100/80 boxes but I'm giving some records away and would like to send them in boxes any help would be appreciated Cheers yocky

Just got to second what fitzi said the weekend was fantastic in both mine and mandys opinion apart from 2018 (when we got married)) the best one yet all the rooms buzzing I even popped my head in the modern room and music was top notch 3 things that made it for me and mandy was fun fun fun like it used to be I heard loads of records I didn't know a load of new faces asking names of tunes then requesting them next night to dance even had a couple of dances myself (george pepp) the only downside was when fitzi played the jersey weekend last record then 4 days of pure escapism was over till next year looking forward to seeing you all next year take care Atb yocky and mandy Ps thank you to everyone for taking time to ask me regarding my health situation it was lovely x -

If you've not been to the war tunnels before they are well worth a visit but if your not going just a reminder we are in the star bar every afternoon Thursday to Sunday where if you fancy bringing a few records over and would like to spin them it's open box all afternoon quite a few have indicated they are playing for us let me daz jim or fitzi know when you get to jersey and we will fit you in safe journey everyone this years gonna be brilliant. -

Only 5 weeks to go to the jersey weekend and it looks like being a packer there are still spaces at the afternoon sessions either post on here or let fitzi and christine know and we will fit you in to spin a few get booked get packed and hopefully see you in jersey -
Hi just going through my mum and dad's wardrobe and in the early 70s we used to wear suits double breasted 36inch bottoms ticket pockets on both trousers and jacket 6 pockets on jacket zips on waist bands lovely post wheel type suits Trousers 32 inch waist jacket 44inch chest Absolutely lovely suit (tailor made) If anyone interested I would love someone to wear it and own it all I want is postage or pick it up in barnsley free let me know Cheers yocky

Just to add to fitzi post the food and accommodation is 2nd to none fantastic selection for breakfast and dinner Also every afternoon thur/fri/sat sun we have open box afternoon 12till 4ish were if you fancy bringing a few records over and you fancy a go nows your chance and we are there to help you with equipment and support and very little restriction on what you play eg modern underplayed northern club soul ska RnB and don't worry about filling the dance floor that's not what the afternoon sessions are about (don't worry if you do lol ) looking forward to seeing you all in Jersey Yocky and mandy
