Record Flattening Service
Hello all I've a couple of vinyl 45's that have warps. Nothing sharp - just slow ups and downs. I've seen all the DIY suggestions but I wondered if anyone has used/has feedback one (of the several) people who offer a flattening and cleaning service? I'd say it was 4-5mm across each disc. Lynn Johnson -Wicked Woman and June Bateman - Possum Belly Overalls, not mega valuable but worth a go? Any thoughts welcomed. MikeHump

Record Store day 2019
I see predictably that Kungs abortion is sold out at Juno. I couldn't have even brought myself to buy one to sell on at an inflated price somewhere down the line!! LOLOL Chortle, none available in London on the day. I eventually got one online. Purely for completist purposes you'll understand!! Hump

Record Store day 2019
I think you'll find a pint of milk varies from shop to shop Mike. Fair point, and its not as if we don't have a choice. No one makes us buy records. I can't believe the prices I've paid for stuff - completely illogical. Regarding availability of certain tracks - I could find a copy of Kungs 7" anywhere.

Record Store day 2019
The prices must vary, I though they were all the same. My daughter picked it up in Berwick St for £28.99. (Still pricey). Mike

Judy Clay on Ember
Hello all I saw a copy of Judy Clay "Do you think that's right for sale" on the sales forum. With a very different label (an quite a bit prettier) to the one I have. Is this a different pressing plant or a release in another region? Anyone know? Thanks Mike

Masters on Crimson - real test press or boot
That clinches it for me. Sigma, Delta, Epsilon plus the indistinguishable factory stamp and the record number, identical. Thanks a lot, but that leaves one question unanswered - WHY DID KEB WANT TWO COPIES?? Mike

Masters on Crimson - real test press or boot
A bit of googling says the Collegians are a doo wop group from 50's. SO I guess your right. Anyone got an issue to check the deadwax? Thanks Mike

Masters on Crimson - real test press or boot
Interesting. Its as if the pressing has used an old label reversed. This is from the blank other side.

Masters on Crimson - real test press or boot
Its reversed, but I think its says Zoom and "The Collegians" Will get back with a bit more info after looking in a mirror. Mike

Masters on Crimson - real test press or boot
Bought this on eBay about 10 years ago for a couple of dollars. It has CR-1008A and HAM in the runout but the "A" is more like a delta. Have always wondered if its from the factory or not. Help anyone? Mike
