  5. After doing some research (Nothing much was known about Ike) I found this information, His real name was Izear Noble Jr., 58, passed away June 3, 2007 at St. Charles Hospital. Born on November 2, 1948 in Little Rock, AR, he was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. A talented musician and singer, he performed in Toledo area night clubs, as well as those in Michigan and other parts of Ohio He performed with The Up Tights formed in Forrest City, Arkansas, USA in March of 1967. They recorded for Joe Lee's Alley records and he released 2 45s in the late 1960s from the sessions. Ike appeared on many labels but released many of his 1980's tunes on this label Connowil
  6. Thanks so much for reminding me of her for all these years her tunes were being played and no one seemed to bother finding out who she was, which bearing in mind she recorded for "Atlantic" and released other tunes (This one being my favourite). Sadly she passed recently and I have found out her details below for all to know Ms. Alice Jean "One'sy" Mack of New York City. Ms. Mack was born in Darlington County and affectionately known by family and friends as One'sy, attended and graduated from Mayo High School Class of 1958 where she participated in many activities. During her eighth grade school year she wrote words for the Mayo High School Alma Mater. She continued her education at South Carolina State College earning a degree in Home Economics. Working in many capacities her occupations included; teaching school, dietetics, a song writer, a singer, acting, a pianist and a producer. If it wasn't for this post we would never have found out.......Thanks

  8. Th The 12" version has a superb Break towards the end, it's a struggle to fit in a 7" box though
  9. Is this the one and is it official as Discogs have it as a bootleg and blocked ?
  10. Interesting one this, as arranger was Wally Roker and writers are Virginia Bland (Monk Higgins Wife) and Don Juan Mancha who were also credited on Tyrone Davis I'm Running A Losing Race (same label) and Bobby Jean Bland I'm Satisfied Just Loving You (same label) Sack was originally a Chicago label and then moved to LA The Yardbird Production credit could help by I am lost on that Dave Moore or Robb K would be a good ask

I know this thread is ancient, but does anyone have any idea who Eddie Regan is/was Bill Ramal and Morty Wilson were clearly responsible for this release as they were 5 record numbers apart with another unknown artist Eddie bishop with a cover of Tony Hatch's "Call Me" I came across these articles (Copy and paste Links please)and thought I was clutching at straws thinking this Eddie Regan could possibly be the same person file:///Users/imac/Desktop/Billboard%20-%20Google%20Books.webarchive file:///Users/imac/Desktop/Billboard%20-%20Google%20Books%201.webarchive
  16. The Huntingdon West Virginia Parliaments (Litlle Archie) that won the court case making George change "his" Parliaments group name
  17. So do you think this is connected with the Group name issue and the court case (which the other group won I believe) and George just called this release The Fellows to save any problems occurring legally, or am I of the mark here (do any dates tally)
  18. I think Chalky is trying to say it's George and The Parliaments using a different name....unless I read it wrong ?
  19. I think George was lead on this, but any ideas on the complete line up please
