Hi roggert, sorry for the late reply but I've only just seen your comment. These photos belong to my brother (Dave Urmston) & he seems to think they were taken in Samanthas Sheffield. He thinks Graham is on the far right & Russ next to him. He told me Russ was from Derby but his memory isn't too good these days.

i got onto the northern soul scene in 1974 when i was 12...only local places to start with as i wernt old enough..
but i moved on up to travelled venues as i got older...thankyou for sharing your memories through your pics it gives great meaning to the term northern soul both to the 70's soulies and the new blood that wants to get on the scene.

Yes it is & I think the dj could be Kev Roberts. My brother sent me the photo's, he was into the scene early days but not now.
Though it would be nice to know if any of the other faces in the photo's are still knocking around on the scene.
