  1. The 'original vinyl only' policy is an ass! 'Legal' or 'Legitimate' vinyl only I can live with. Anyone likely to get hung for playing Ivory's 'Please Stay' on Wand (for example)? Sean
  2. Hi Nick, John had it covered up as "The Anderson Brothers" ... while I was playing it as The Brothers Guiding Light. Remember him getting quite cross with me for announcing it as the correct artist. Sean
  3. £10 I'd pay £30 without batting an eyelid. Sean
  4. A few of us played it Alan, but, like the rest of us, 99% positive that Richard played it off the LP. Sean
  5. I don't have any bloody hair... ...it was yours I was on about! Hope you're well sunshine. Sean
  6. And Dandruff, Ken.
  7. Yeh - Everyone! As I looked deep into the pictures it brought me straight back there. Bloody amaaaaaaaaaazing them Mark! Thanks Sean
  8. I have this. Pretty common £5 record I reckon. Sean
  9. PT 101 is Sir Peter Sound Orch "Love Birds" What were 102 & 103?
  10. That's spot on Neil, I reckon. All the four prongers have the dotted lettering. This was clearly a 'done elsewhere' job - and back then they couldn't just email a jpeg to create or recreate the artwork!
  11. The Lounge @ Yarmuff! Would like to hear it. Mp3?
  12. I don't know this, Simon. Any good? So "Are You Together" is the funk side? Is "Waiting For Your Love" a Deepie collected by the Japanese? Some info here:- https://www.fryer-mantis.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=14016 Sean
  13. Double post
  14. Johnny Wyatt sold by the barrow load on President and is in everones collection. Sean

  18. Agree. And still sounds amazing, Kev. Sean
  19. No way - his bedroom aint big enough for him to spin in!
  20. Also, Sam, Erv & Tom on Dynamo (UK Direction) & Grill (Aint That Loving You). Sam Culley, Ervin Waters & Thomas Pric (Bill Collier left the group after the Diplomats). Remember how we all thought the Fantastic Puzzles were also The Puzzles? Well, turns out that they weren't! You still collecting GSF John? Sean
  21. Can you tell us more about this project, Paul? Who else was in the 24? Also, is the video for general release? Sean
  22. Lighter fluid normally does it. Sean PS: But don't smoke while removing label
  23. ...............You sure it was just a bit of Baccy?
  24. Thankfully, YES, mate. Have you been reading Paul Kysers new thread? Superb stuff. Sean
  25. Think you've summed it up in the first sentence. The Mecca did get through a whole bunch of new releases mid 70's. Many of them didn't 'stick' at the time and these were often picked up later with a more consolidated approach to promotion. "My Kind Of Girl" was a huge Clifton Hall spin, yes, but I don't recall it getting played at the Mecca. Then again... Sean
