  1. It was the other side, Steve, but it was also on a Wigan Casino Goldmine too! So you're right.... and you're right!
  2. The Soul Of Wigan Casino - GSCD 154 Sean
  3. Great Southern tune! It was Booted on a Red Label 'Southbound' Pressing. Flipside "I Can't Lie To My Heart" is Magnificent! Sean
  4. The 80's is when the UK Soul scene came of age. The 'pop' fans and fashion victims that came along in the mid 70's had, by then, come and gone. Rotherham Clifton Hall, Cleethorpes Winter Gardens, Bradford Queens Hall, Warrington Parr Hall, Stafford TOTW (and more) kept things going for the Soul fans who stayed. New blood came along who were genuinely interested in the music rather than because it was the 'new big thing' (because it wasn't)... and playlists became broader, more interesting, more diverse and (IMO) more Soulful. Great decade, great years, great times (that, sadly, so many people missed). Sean
  5. Nah, it'll just split the scene. One room is the best policy. Keep it all together, after all, most of us like a little bit of everything.
  6. Will have to dig out your Wants list again then, Bob, but I don't think I'll have much joy at my local Car Boot sale.
  7. Hi Bob, I struggled on your Group list some months ago. Do you ever take cash? Sean
  8. Yes, I've an idea Chris, How about I post out the last one? Following several months drying out and peeling apart my vinyl, I've Been sat at my desk burning CD's all day long (inbetween working of course). Will (finally) be with you all in the next 2-3 days! Apologies for the unforseen (and unfortunate) delay. Sean
  9. Come On Train. Train Keep On Moving. Do The Choo Choo. All pretty big at the mo, Paul.
  10. Steve M at the NMRC 1st Anniversary.
  11. B@5TARD!!!!! You said you weren't going to show it!!! I want my three quid back!
  12. That was true at one time Paul, but now it's been on the Telly and front page news on the Press stands it aint what it used to be. Too many kids getting on the scene, with no real passion for it. Just wanna get involved because it's 'fashionable'. Just wait, give 'em 6 month and they'll be off chasing the next big thing. Even the Southern mob are wanting a piece if it. Where were they when you had to travel to the other end of the country just to get involved? Kin' Divs. The lot of 'em!
  13. Northern Model Railway Circuit of course!!!!! Steve, do try and keep up! (I dont know, blummin suvverners)
  14. Be worth a few bob that one Steve... in the right hands! How much do you want... ... to keep it to yourself?
  15. Show off. OK, I take it back. Respect due.
  16. Yeh, well that's what you think. You guys on the Southern Model Railway Circuit haven't got a clue! All Diesel Engines and no Steam you lot! At least I'm keeping it real... and sticking to me Routes!
  17. Look... I just don't want to talk about it... ...or at least on here anyway. My thing on the Northen Mod Rail-Circ (as we like to call it) has got nothing to do with you. OK. End of. Thanks. Sean
  18. I was just walking past it... (heading for the lads mags )... honest! Funny though how it leapt out at me from the corner of my eye.... almost subconciously! Same thing happens when you're scouring a list of 50,000, five dollar, pop n' rock records at a rapid 500 words a second intake... and the oddly named Ty Karim just leaps off the page! Happens all the time!
  19. Nothing at all!!! As usual... Achill Sound.
  20. Been a major want of mine for years. Those who know me will know why. £100 here for a copy any day of the week. Sean PS: Agree.... Rita is better... for the dancefloor
  21. Interesting that! Whilst in WH Smith at Kings Cross Station last week, I was struck by the headline on the cover of this months "Model Rail" Magazine. The Editor obviously sees the similarity... and has targeted his publication accordingly. Sean
  22. Think the other side is more appropriate for Kev Johnno. Surprised he sold it!
  23. I've had it since new, but it's always been his hardest 70's release. Not as good as "I'll Be Holding On" or "Bring Your Good Lovin' Home" (IMO) but still a nice enough little record. Sean
