  6. Thanks for the knowledgeable reply Sebastian. Fantastic record whatever the label. However, I would like it on Mona so if anyone has one for sale in good condition and at a reasonable price, please PM me. Regards. Drew.
  7. Thanks for commenting John. Anyone know what a Mona issue or demo would go for? Regards. Drew.
  8. Recently bought the light green Jewel (no logo) of this and did a little research before buying and like the thread starter found evidence of this on a yellow Mona lable. Also, like Stefan in 2009 I couldn't find any information/statements regarding the Mona issue which definatively confirms that Mona is the origional. I guess it must be but trawling the Net, I couldn't find any reference to a Mona copy being sold! Loads on Jewel for sale on SS over the years, no one refers to the Jewel as a reissue, lots of people refer to playing it at various soul events, including big events abroad which I would have thought would be OVO events!!!! One earlier poster stated that they had the Mona on a dark blue label!!!! So, ten years on, is there any more info regarding the Mona issue; rarity, value, last one anyone seen sold? Regards. Drew.

  14. Anyone got a Ex +(playing more than label) US first issue copy of this for sale and are you happy with bank transfer for payment? Barry White ‎– I Love To Sing The Songs I Sing Label: 20th Century Fox Records ‎– TC-2416 Format: Vinyl, 7", 45 RPM, Single Country: US Please PM with cost and condition. Regards. Drew.

  16. After a first issue US origional/stock copy of Billy Stewart - Summertime on Chess. Plenty on Disgogs and not an expensive record it seems; however, I prefer to buy from sellers on SS if possible. Please PM condition and price if you have one for sale. I understand that the extended version is LP only but please advise if that is incorrect? Regards. Drew.
  17. PM sent re: EMANUEL LASKY – OUR WORLD / LUCKY TO BE LOVED BY YOU E+ £30 Regards. Drew.
  18. Sorted thanks. Regards. Drew.
  19. Hi folks. I was after a copy of Gloria Gaynor - She’ll be sorry - Jocida (not a promo) from a recent sales list. The record was for sale at under £20 but then P&P was to be added. The record was described as Ex. Unfortunately, I couldn't buy the record as I don't do PayPal and the seller doesn't do bank transfer, which is my preferred payment method. Anyone got a copy for sale, Ex or better and hopefully the total cost with P&P will be under or on the £20 mark and you are happy to take payment via BT? Regards. Drew.
  20. Hi Mark. Unless I'm being really dim, I cannot see any prices for this list. Regards. Drew.
  21. PM sent Des. Regards. Drew.
  22. PM'd you Des. Regards. Drew.
  23. PM'd you for the Emotions Des. Regards. Drew.
  24. There are many people on here and on the scene as a whole who knew Grant for longer and a lot better than I. However, whenever I did see him at an event he always had time to chat whether he was DJing or not. This is such a shock and very, very sad news. RIP Grant. Drew.
  25. .......weekend today to Sunday. Going to Forest Pines near Scunthorpe and wondered if there are any pub/bar soul nights near by? There will stuff going on in Sheffeild and Rotherham tonight and/or tomorrow but that's likely to be a bit far a field for the lads I'll be with. Anything going on in the towns/villages nearby, the Market Town of Brigg for instance? Regards. Drew.
