    Don't get me wrong, I do like oldies, but not when I'm out and about . I can listen to it at home or at work any time. Must admit I do like to here something new and different, and there so many venues to chews from nowadays , and the choice of different rooms in some of them, and in the all-nighters as well .

    I know this is not northern soul dancing , but in the early 80's I went to San Francisco , and several times went to a disco , the dancing was totally different to us British. Sorry no photos to show.

    Myself I don't think it will make any difference . As for the L.A. trip, the rooms were always packed, whether upstairs at the weekend, or downstairs at the bar for the rest of the time. Anyway, how did the smokers cope with the 10 hour flight there and 10 hours back without smoking, if they could endure that on a flight they will be able to in a venue.
