  7. Mr Manships sold 2 in last 12 months, both about £600 if I remember, plain yellow is the 2nd issue, if Impel is the first, Multi coloured came next, it was reissued not booted. Spot.
  8. Our Middleton crew that imploded after a trio of horrid events.
  9. Brilliant again Pete, how good is Lou Edwards & why is it not played anymore, hardly? Same with Life - Tell me why, Rosey Jones, Skullsnaps but the Melba Moore I remember best was Don't cry, sing along & I seem to remember at Cleethorpes no one would play Spider Turner, you couldn't give it away, how sad is that. Spot.? P.s. World Column was a Cleethorpes Anniversary give away, what a tune & what a freebie.
  10. Excellent Pete, laid on the bed enjoying it & a rest prior to a Siesta before dinner near Seville in Spain.Bunny Sigler first tune I ever back dropped to, wish I still could!!!!!! Look like stranded crab if I try now.??? Spot.?
  11. An early days dealer, I started dealing with him in 73 & had some top tunes from him, he always did me proud. First dealings I had with him was a Frank Ifield album I bought for £1 , I swapped him it for a 200 mixed box, which had the 2nd known copy of Danny Monday in & many others, made over a £1000 from it & swaps with Soul Sam, I've written about before on here in detail. Bob went on to do boots also but he wasn't the only name doing so. Spot.
  12. Don't promoters look at the calendar? Or is it that they don't give a sh*te? It's the busiest time of the year for events, Cleggy, Brid, Whitby, Skeggy, St.Ives & Barnstable all within weeks of this. I'd love to do more than one but I don't have a Trust Fund or a Lottery Cheque, so only one it is. Spot the Pauper.
  13. This always reminds me of Jack Jones type stuff & not a patch on "Can't help" or "My Way".
  14. Massive Mecca & Cleethorpes tune, just listen to that back beat!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. How cool are they? Still a fabulous tune & dancer.
  16. These videos are like watching a rerun of my formative years.Thank You.
  17. The song that put Soul back into Northern Soul and changed the scene for ever. BRILLIANT.
  18. Oh yeh, Mis-spent Youth and all that, Girls loved this.
  19. Always reminds me of Drax Soul Club when we first returned to the scene and before it became Youth Club Oldies etc. It was good then.
  20. Fabulous, one of my fav's & Levi's voice, superb & the best version.
  21. Worth turning out just for the Earles & Terry Callier.
  22. Can't you read? I was replying to what Ted quoted, so don't start slating people before checking your facts. You'll also notice I said it was a pity the other venture failed, fact of life most Bar's/Pubs are closing down, I just can't see this being any different from what's been mentioned but next time we're down Birmingham (Often in fact) we'll give it a whirl. Spot.
  23. That just about sums it up then Ted, Bandwagon, Jump, the, on, springs to mind. It'll go down like a fart in a wetsuit!!!! I remember someone trying it with a Restaurant in Lytham and it sank within 6 month or so. Pity but it's a fact. Spot.
  24. Kev a very unfortunate phrase, I'm sure you meant,"Let me follow it up".
