Just in case anyone is interested, I've identified the second track on the first link - it's The Appointments: '(Funny feeling) Stepping closer' Just wish I could identify the track on the second link!!.

Following the excellent help I received with my recent ID request, I hope you don't mine me taking advantage of the great expertise out there to try and name a few more great tracks whose identity continues to elude me. Tape 18 track at 1.27.50 ( could be 'Running wild' but not Ex Saveyons) and track at 1.41.45 ( at top priority but no idea of title) track at 17.57 track 56.58 This is Oh baby we got a good thing going' but differs from the Barbara Lynn version on YouTube -the brass is far more pronounced. Is it a different version by Barbara or another artist?

I agree - if only we could fund out what it is and hear it clearly!

Delighted to get the Sharon McCMann track identified - many thanks - I fear I may have slightly got the numbering wrong on the second track - it is the one that follows Jean Carter's 'I wanna know' - it has a chorus of 'your friends and my friends are trying to keep us apart (or something similar!)

I would really love to know the identity of these two northern soul tracks. Sadly the sound is rather distorted but i do hope someone may be able to recognise them. The first is on this link at 22.05 The second is at 6.15

A couple of years ago I posted 4 tracks asking for help in naming the artists and titles. I was delighted that 3 were identified - thanks very much - but the fourth remains elusive. Please can anyone help identify it .
