Hi - I am a new member under my name, but was previously part of the Soulaid charity group that has posted many Leyland events on Soul Source over recent years. I have been into soul music and collected records since the late sixties. I was a regular at the Highland Room from about 1972 to 1977. I currently help Bob Taylor with the Soul on Saturday events in Leyland and regularly DJ at a number of modern and northern soul events in the north west e.g. Preston Grasshoppers, East Lancs Soul Club, Soul on the Edge, White Bull Gisburn, Greenlands Preston, Cltheroe Soul Club, Monaco Hindley and Southport Prince of Wales Charity all-dayer.
