    Another Instalment of this growing Soul Event. This Month we welcome Ste Condron along with Chic Mullineux as our guest DJs.. Additional Guests: Bringing those memories of Wigan Casino Brian Waterhouse and Kevin Murphy are double decking.Will be on at the Hall July 27th. Someone clashing nearby in a cafe calling it a Weekender apparently flagged it haha. Sorry for inconvenience RMI Legendary Original DJ Danny Paton. All welcome. Residents Kevin McCaffrey George Falzon Gamekeeper Jones and Dolly along with Jimmy Cowburn and guest TBA In the Dolly-Room. Bring Your own Drink Dance enjoy the friendly atmosphere Event starts 6.30pm 6 hrs of Soul from across the decades. We don't tell DJs what to play. It's upto them to shine.

    I go to various. Not case of not upto standards. Was excellent in what he played. Sadly not on par with what I listened to last time at Congleton. Left me bit flat. So I went home. My perogative and right to comment. I do love rare Soul. I rarely if ever now go Oldies as you comment. Not because they are full of Divs as stated by a plastic tourist. actually not better than some I have heard at Ashton. I go regularly. I go Culceth regularly also. Not many others get my money.

    Very much enjoyed Phil Dunn. Of all the music played. Possible the Daddy on the night. Waiting at opening bit silly. Checking names when tickets shown. Unnecessary imo checking in on lists. It was all ticket. Anyway. A curtain fell down on us after seated. Bit funny really. Mick was superb and Simon usual excellent. Butch. Left me disappointed. I had bigger him up to my mate after Congleton last summer. Where he blew me away. Odd Stafford track. Ivy Joe unreleased the Highlights. Other stuff I've heard by other DJs over time. We left after an hour disappointed. Can do much better.

    This Superb Developing Soul Night. Now enter The Ladies. With two highly esteemed DJ's. From The Soul Nighter Scene we Welcome Deborah Cotton Also from The Dolly Room our very own Kathleen Oconnell With Big Jimmy Cowburn back on Main-Room Decks. He loves the place. We may add a third to make even spicier. Gamekeeper Jones is in charge of The Dolly-Room and will announce any guests Rob Hitchcock and Deb Cotton will be spinning in The Dolly along with Big Jimmy Cowburn. Bring your own Drinks. Huge Private Carpark Beer Gardens See you at the Go-Go.

    2 Rooms of Soul, Northern Soul and R&B One or two unknowns. Depends which room you go in. Two Beer Gardens Large Private Car Park. Bring Your Own Drinks and ONLY £6 ENTRY. Doors Open 6.30 pm Let The Music Play.

    An average round at the bar costs over £30. Imagine how much you could buy from The Beer Cave in Grimsargh which is just up the road. Less than 500 yds from the Village Hall. Then think bringing your own means no up and down waiting to be served. You have it all at your table. No other Venue to my knowledge on a Saturday night allows you to Bring your own drinks.

    So for those who love hearing a record never heard previously on single format. Discovered on American Soul Auction. Unreleased by The Spinners Sweet Music. Will be uploaded to YouTube at The Event. So get yourself on the floor. Great mid-trmpo with instrumental breaks. .

    Attendees also contribute to records being played. Speaking with travel companion James Seed on the way back from an Endoscopy operation. We chatted about people we know some passed away. This record came up. James mentioned how it was no longer played out. So Grimsargh will revive it.

    Well Grimsargh is a bit of a Lovers Concerto. Our very own George Falzon and Alison Todd Are getting hitched. Down on one knee and She Said Yes. Soul Celebration ️ The Beer Gardens will be open subject to weather. Come and make it a very special occasion For George and Ally
