  1. But you asked for "discography of cameo Parkway", which means UK releases, not US releases.
  2. Dave's site is really good, no question. But the original question was for a label discography of Cameo Parkway, which must mean the UK label release because in America the label was Parkway and Cameo seperately. So, is Dave's listing more for American Parkway and American Cameo label collectors only. Now I know UK Cameo Parkway records retained the US Parkway and US Cameo serial numbers, so Dave's listings would still be relevant. But, who can supply a complete UK Cameo Parkway label listing? I'd be interested to see that too.
  3. Found "Window Wishing" on YouTube. I went to the Wheel and can't imagine this being played there. Although they did have midweek sessions so it might have been played then. Back in the day, it wasn't easy to get to Manchester from Liverpool midweek so I only made the weekend visits.
  4. Hi Guys, Nice thread. I'm a fan of Dionne Warwick but confess I'm not familiar with ALL her work. These you mention, "Window Wishing", which you say was a Twisted Wheel number, and "I Never Knew What You Were Up To", a brilliant dancer, I've never heard before. Also "Home Is Where There Is Love". Any chance of a soundbyte of each? Thanks in advance to anybody who can oblige.
  5. Aren't you missing a track between Pearl Woods - Something Touched Me and Tammy James - That's Fat Jack
  6. Thanks. Particularly liked; Betty Everett - Too Hot To Hold O'Nita Hammond - Mighty Fine No No Starr - Swing Your Love My Way Big Ella - Too Hot To Hold Tammy James - That's Fat Jack Chase Canfil - Woke Up This Morning
  7. Wonderful stuff Davie. Some I know, many I don't. Please PM me a playlist, or is there one somewhere already and I'm just too dozy to see it?
  8. Did you ever get an answer to this question? I'd be interested to know about that possible connection as well.
  9. Has it happened to you yet?
  10. Yes, German 45 with picture sleeve on Liberty 15 084. B side to "If You Need Me". Credited on label as a "Double L" recording. Took me years to track one down so I guess it's quite difficult. Hope this helps and doesn't put you off. Good luck. PS - Never heard of the Portuguese EP before.
  11. I know it's old hat but I STILL CAN"T BELIEVE THIS IS A 1959 RECORDING. It's SO way ahead of it's time, it's unbelievable!!! And a forerunner to THAT MOTOWN SOUND!!!

Let's face it, has he ever made a bad record?
  13. Hi Honky, Got any left? If so, would love a copy. Thanks
  14. Thanks Pete. Any chance you could PM me a track listing of the Different Strokes double Lp?
  15. So sorry Soul-Slider, for some reason I thought they looked like American Import labels, what with the numbering systems. One of my faults I'm afraid, I tend to open my big gob before engaging my brain or checking my facts. Do you have copies of all these Lp's by chance?
  16. Thanks guys but it's UK released Lp's that I'm after. Then, I'll be after track listings for all of them. Can anybody else help?
  17. Hi Folks, I'm looking for a complete list of all UK released LPs by Joe Tex. Can anybody help?
  18. Thanks MissM
  19. My problem has been with individuals from Germany and NOT dealers.
  20. Hi Chrissie, Am I generalising? I thought I was being very specific? I've had four buys from 'individuals' on eBay from Germany and I've had problems with all four!!! Yes, I might be unlucky, and I probably am, but it gets to you when it's four from four. But I take your point, I'm NOT getting at everybody in Germany or everything that passes through the German Post Office, but like I said, four out of four gets you down a bit don't you think?
  21. I think you'll be surprised at the cost. But check it out for yourself first, then let us all know :o)
  22. I agree with you Bearsy. By the way, what is it costing you to pay via Bank transfer? Is that an IBAN you're talking about?
  23. Take it you've not had any problems with Germany and you're happy to hear others might have so you can keep it all to yourself (and Sidney Bridge)
  24. I've bought from the first site a few times in the past and to be fair, hadn't realised I was dealing with a German supplier, thought it was Swedish for some reason? So, I need to update my original posting / comments to firmly exclude Thorsten Wagner's site. Sorry Thorsten, you must know I was not getting at you in any way at all. Yours is a Great site. Particularly like the way you list your updates in BOLD letters. Nice touch. Keep sending me those emails of your site updates :o) As for the other site, I've never had dealings with them and until now didn't know of them at all, so again, apologies to them too, my comments were not aimed at them. To be fair to myself though, I did say / infer at the beginning that I was dealing with individuals posting on eBay.
  25. Hi Moldie, I'm happy to hear that and Marc is a good guy, I know him, BUT I stand by my experiences and suspect I can't be the only one with this spell of bad experiences? Thanks to Tony too, I'll try that tomorrow.
