Are you SURE it came out on Sotoplay?

  6. Hi Pete, Did you look into my comment, repeated below; Funny, I was asking this question on the phone to the Post Office just a week or two ago and I seem to remember the official telling me that there is no customs charge on used / second hand items, or if the package is marked gift. Even if it is a gift, or used or second hand, it still has value so can therefore be insured. You'd best double check first though. Pretty sure I'm correct. Denbo.

Came out on an English label Lp too, around 1971. Not a lot of people know that.

Happy to see you back from Canada. Must meet up during the week for an Indian. Denbo.
  11. Bloody hell Pete, I see what you mean. I can also see what pikeys-dog meant about saving a fortune in costs. Seems like they have a base label design then just print over that for any label under their control. Nice one.

Bloody hell Dave, that IS good. Never noticed that before. Has it always been on your site since you started the 264? Denbo. PS - I think I might be able to add to this but only when I'm at home at weekends so don't expect anything immediately.

Ernie, I've got a yellow Demo copy for sale too but it's only about Ex- and I've got £20 on it. Plenty of people pause when they see it and sometimes even comment but I ain't sold it yet. :o( Hope that helps? Denbo.

That HAS to be the same Sonny Daye as Sonny Dave Daye and the Muffins on Ring-O, doing Merry-Go-Round, right?

Must admit, been wondering where he is, or what he's been up to these days myself. Can anybody enlighten us?
  18. It's okay, don't worry about it, it's an original. Quite a few came out on yellow label / styrene. Not sure why though?
  19. Better check with Dave Rimmer first to see if it might be classed as a reissue

Simon, Have you got the correct thread here? Denbo.

Hey Tommy, how's it hangin'? Great show by the way, keep it up, you might make it as a DJ one day. Pass on my regards to Goran and Bjorn-Espen.
  22. True, but have you ever listened to those classic Blues tracks with train horn impressions, fantastic rhythm and remember, they say that's where our soul music evolved from. So, bring it on Thomas.
  23. Let's not split hairs Dave, reissue is the same as re-release. At the end of the day, a record released here in the UK after it has been released in America, is not a reissue but a British release. Mr. Bang Bang Man on UK Monument, as opposed to it's first release here in the UK on London, is a reissue. I'm shaking my head here. I cannot understand how you can think otherwise. Oh well, time for bed. Got an early start tomorrow and I need my kip. Especially after all this hard work. Night all. Denbo.
