Denbo

I've just been listening to the vocal of this tune online, I think from the 'Whose Muddy Shoes' Lp / CD, which I understand was released in 1969. I first heard it many years ago and have only just remembered to look into this recording in more detail. A little bit of research has revealed that it was also released as an instrumental, in April 1960 on Chess Lp CH 1537. Can anybody confirm the above, perhaps with further information to back it up? Does anybody have a soundbyte of the instrumental? Also, does anybody know if the tune came out as a 45, instrumental or vocal? All comments would be most welcome.

Even if it is a gift, or used or second hand, it still has value so can therefore be insured. You'd best double check first though. Pretty sure I'm correct. Denbo.

Came out on an English label Lp too, around 1971. Not a lot of people know that.

Bloody hell Pete, I see what you mean. I can also see what pikeys-dog meant about saving a fortune in costs. Seems like they have a base label design then just print over that for any label under their control. Nice one.

Ernie, I've got a yellow Demo copy for sale too but it's only about Ex- and I've got £20 on it. Plenty of people pause when they see it and sometimes even comment but I ain't sold it yet. :o( Hope that helps? Denbo.

It's okay, don't worry about it, it's an original. Quite a few came out on yellow label / styrene. Not sure why though?

Better check with Dave Rimmer first to see if it might be classed as a reissue
