  1. No, Stateside is correct. Or at least mine's on Stateside.
  2. Nice one. Have to say, I have NEVER seen this album before. Will be looking out for it from now on in though. Thanks.
  3. Saw her / them live at the Jazz Club in Camden Town last Thursday night, and like you said, effin awesome. Best live act I've seen in donkies years. Thought I heard somebody mention she is 52 years old? Never!!! Boy, could she move. Human dynamo springs to mind and the band was tight!!! Especially on that baritone sax led instrumental of It's A Shame (I think?). Was getting a bit excited by this time.
  4. Know what you mean about very few collectors into UK Lp's. IO for one am not complaining.
  5. A couple suggestions from me would be; No.1 In Your Heart Lp - Herbie Goins on UK Parlophone Sure Things Lp - Little Willie John on UK Parlophone - the only way of having I'm Shakin on a UK label as it's the last track on side two.
  6. Any chance of a scan of the Sam & dave Lp?
  7. Any chance of a scan of that one?
  8. Truly magnificent Lp that one on President. But unfortunately, the Non-Stop Soul Lp has incomplete tracks on it, which is a real shame when it comes to the Cody Black track.
  9. So, what's the compilation Lp called on UK Columbia with the said Artistics track?

  12. Nah, I'm not havin' that Brian, before your time? God, Herbie must be ANCIENT!!!
  13. Yeah, I've got the Lp as well as the 45 both, as you say, on UK Parlophone. Amazing to suddenly hear it like that on the telly in an advert.
  14. Did anybody else notice the Sky Sports advert for May's sporting events just after the Utd v Arsenal game supported by Herbie Goins's No.1 In Your Heart?

  22. Anybody got a soundbyte of the following Ru-Jac 45? Ru-Jac 101-1 - Winfield Parker - Mr Clean Part 1/ Mr Clean Part 2 - 1968 Thanks in advance
  23. Thanks very much. That was a perfect reply. Very happy to see it released on a UK label Lp as I like collecting English label releases when I can / when they're available. Thanks again.
  24. I've just been listening to the vocal of this tune online, I think from the 'Whose Muddy Shoes' Lp / CD, which I understand was released in 1969. I first heard it many years ago and have only just remembered to look into this recording in more detail. A little bit of research has revealed that it was also released as an instrumental, in April 1960 on Chess Lp CH 1537. Can anybody confirm the above, perhaps with further information to back it up? Does anybody have a soundbyte of the instrumental? Also, does anybody know if the tune came out as a 45, instrumental or vocal? All comments would be most welcome.
