  1. He's right though Mike, it's too loud man, too loud.
  2. Did you sell all these eventually? Did you sell The Gum Drops - Natural Born Lover - King

Mark, tried to PM you but wasn't able. Can you please PM me? Thanks. Nothing serious. We have a mutual friend as in Kev C and I want to ask you something. Not urgent. Mr. Moderator: Hope this is in the correct forum heading? Please transfer if not.
  5. Yes, but your best mate borrowed it off me!!!

Thanks Paul. Do you have a complete listing somewhere from which you extracted the Soul releases only?
  8. I'm after Mint (or near Mint) Demo 45s, presumably red and white, of the following two records on UK Columbia; You'll Never Walk Alone Ferry Across The Mersey Can anybody oblige? I know it's not R&B, which is my usual thing but . . . . . it's just one of those things I want, you know how it is . . . . . don't you? Those who fancy it can take the Mick, be my guest, but those able to help, please PM me. Thanks.

Is there one on here already and if not, can anybody oblige?
  13. Please PM me if you have these for sale. State condition and price please.
  14. Who's got an issue copy for sale? Please PM me with your price and condition. Also, could some kind soul please PM me with a soundbyte of the flip side. Thanks in advance.
  15. Don't know that particular one, which is no big surprise. His others are great IMO. Anybody got a soundbyte for our entertainment?

Interested in obtaining a copy. Can anybody help? Please PM me with condition and price.
  17. You're not kiddin' So a big thanks once again to Mike.
  18. Yeah, that's my copy. Tell you what though, the vinyl boots are bloody good. Has a TH- before the rest of the record number, unlike the originals. Is this significant? Thought I had a vague memory of the TOMAS release, NEVER seen one though.
  19. Thanks to Mike from the Soulful Shack in Culcheth, I now have a copy of this wonderful record!!! I had the pleasure of being entertained with loads of R&B and early Soul tunes from his collection the other night and believe me when I tell you, he's got a great collection, which is why it's definitely worth a trip down to his venue next weekend. Added to that, you've also got Guest DJ's in the form of my old mate Kev Kus with his particular slant on the New Breed R&B scene, and of course Pete Griffen, who did a brilliant spot down the Hideaway the other week at the Modchester Mod Weekender at their new venue. Awesome.
  20. Yes, I heard it played in my study about a month ago. Don't remember it being 'gritty'. Better go play it again.
  21. That was Dave Rivers.
  22. Verbal explanation is fine but if an original scan versus a boot scan can be provided, then even better.
  23. As a matter of interest, has anybody got a soundbyte of this record who wouldn't mind posting it up.
  24. Well, only goes to show, different strokes, etc . . . . . . Keep smiling Pete.
  25. JMO, but I don't need to hear the whole thing. Anyhow, which Dusty Wilson? It's Gonna Be A Tragedy? Nearly as bad as Frank Furter. Better Than You? Even worse. BUT, like I said, just my opinion. Just think of the tons of records you could buy for £500 well better than FF & The Hotdogs.
