  1. Did we ever get an explanation? Did I miss it?
  2. How do they know you're using a sniper and when they find out isn't it already too late, considering the sniper trips in with seconds to go.
  3. I want one too.
  4. Don't think so?
  5. Will that be the Four Tees that recorded on Kent and backed Johnny Wesley on Melic?
  6. Still on the lookout. Anybody?
  7. What do you mean? Can you be more specific? Like actual catalogue numbers? A and B sides for each? Thanks.
  8. Hi Tommy :o) Sebastian, Can't comment on the others, just yet, but Delaney Bramlett - Liverpool Lou / You Have No Choice - GNP CRESCENDO 339 was also released on UK Vocalion.
  9. Yeah . . . but what about the sleeve? Bump.
  10. Gene, You couldn't PM me a soundfile / mp3 of the UK Philips release could you? A scan would be nice too! I collect UK labels so it might be of interest to me if I like the different take compared to the Mad release. Cheers.
  11. Can nobody help?
  12. Okay, nice one, I'll add that information on the cardboard sleeve. Thanks.
  13. My Chappy copy just says "Instrumental" on the flip side of "Price", nothing else. I'm away from home at the moment so can't investigate further. Different record to the flip on Nu Beat that much I do know.
  14. Pete, in my eyes, you're THE authority, on here, for Jamaican, hence the question directed straight to you. Nowt wrong with that, is there? Stimulates a bit of discussion if nothing else, eh?
  15. Yes, it's the first issue. The later releases are different cuts too. If anybody has a copy for sale, it has to be the issue on MAD. Cheers.
  16. Please PM me if you have a copy for sale, or know where I can get a copy. Best condition please.
  17. Okay, point well taken. STILL, you NEVER know.
  18. Wondered that myself? Didn't know that about the label, so thanks for that.
  19. Oh, right, good to know. Off to States in March. Will keep my eyes peeled. You never know.
  20. Seems like a slightly different cut to the UK release.
  21. Demo. Only Good condition but plays VERY well indeed. Offers taken.
  22. Yes, I'm fully aware it had links to Motown but when? Did Gordy take over the label to acquire certain talent then move on, explaining the later C&W releases? Just a thought, I honestly don't really know. But then, that's what the forum's all about eh? Learning something new?
  23. Arnie, Did you get a reply to your question? Guess you didn't 'cos it wasn't about Ian and his Productions and Songs? Just a guess.
  24. Joe, Did you get a reply to your question? I mean it was on subject.
  25. Okay, that's interesting. So it wasn't all just C&W after the early releases then. Still, interesting that a label like this, a small independent label, should have a mixture of Soul and C&W.
