  5. If it did, it would only have had a small black capital 'A', about 3/4" tall, stamped directly onto the label. I have one of the Betty Everett release on Sue.
  6. It don't have to have worth to be interesting.
  7. I've got the same, c/w picture sleeve, as an issue. Think it's a black label from memory? Anyhow, bought it from a little record shop just off the Piazza San Marco (often known as St Mark's Square, whilst in Venice on holiday way back in the very early 70s.

What if I give you my American import copy (as well as a little cash) in exchange, which you could then sell on, what kind of price could you offer it to me for? Please PM me. Thanks. PS - Catch you back later tomorrow.

  15. Thanks John, much appreciated. Really like the 45 cat!!!
  16. Yes, I do have a full listing, with a few missing numbers as usual and no, I don't think any of them are Soul. Your idea of a general 45 collectors site is sound advice. Can you recommend one or two? Will still try on here but will expand on my chances by taking your advice.
  17. Just giving this post a bit of a nudge to give more of you a chance to see it and hopefully respond.
  18. Hi Eddie, Yes, you got that the right way round. I'm after scans of the fisrt 7 releases on UK President in order to determine whether or not any of them have the same label design as PT 104. I'm also after information regarding whether or not there were any artist credits in the horizontal rather than the vertical beyond PT 260 by the Equals. If anybody has one, can you please post a scan or PM me. Thanks. Denbo.
  19. Any luck Roger?
  20. Cool. Fingers crossed.
  21. Hi Eddie, I'm away from home right now but fairly certain I haven't got that release. I'll double check though when I get home Friday. Denbo. PS - Do you have any of the first 7 releases on UK President?
  22. My previous thread regarding the different label design for President PT104 has pretty much run it's course but has thrown up another question. And that is, were all of the first seven releases on President of the same label design as PT 104, or is PT104 out there on it's own? So, I am asking all you kind folk here on Soul Source to check your collections to see if you have any of the first 7 issues on UK President and if so, would you be so kind, if able, to post a scan, or photograph, of the label so that me, and a few other nerds on here can put the debate to bed. Thanks in advance. Denbo.
  23. Bought a few UK label Reggae Lps during my spell Djing at the Sink in Liverpool a few years back and seeings how I've had the whole day to myself in my so-called 'Study', thought I'd give them a spin. See if you can tell which Lp it is that I've been playing based on the following favourite tracks; Mary poppins - Tommy McCook Black Coffee - Ditto Moonlight Groover - Wiston Wright Breaking Up - Alton Ellis
  24. Figured as much. Yeah, it was a good night, if a bit low key. Shame the snow decided to fall in bucket fulls on Donna's Birthday celebration. Didn't spoil things too much though. The upside was that we all got a MUCH BIGGER portion of the wonderfully moist chocolate cake that was on offer. REALLY was tasty. Of course Ady got by far the largest portion. :o) Nah, just kiddin', methinks it was actually Warren Boogaloo's slice that won hands down!!! :o)
  25. Do you mean PT 100 or PT 101? Or, the first of the two scans I posted?
