Chris, This list is almost the same as the list with your Sales CD except the latter had about 10 or so toward the end that differ from this list, amongst which there were a few I liked. I've left the CD at work, could you PM me a copy of that CD list? One of them was by Buddy Lamp. Is that still available?

Nope, I'm completely wrong. Told you from the start I was confused!!! Printed titles on the label are 'My Dear Beloved' (the rarer of the two) and 'Dearly Beloved'. It's just that the word 'Dearly' is never sung during the whole recording. I think that's what confused me. QED. Sorry everybody. :wacko:

So, that confirms what I said in my summary. It's the inclusion versus the absence of the word 'My' that determines it's rarity / value. The word 'Dearly' only seems to appear on the re-issue / boot. Thanks Mick. But I can't agree with you that the backing singers sing 'Dearly Beloved'.

You've confused me even more now Rod. What do you mean? As far as I can tell, the record should be titled 'Dear Beloved', because that sounds like what he's singing. The record is actually titled 'My Dear Beloved'. So, should we be talking about this record being mis-titled as opposed to mis-spelled? In fact, where, if anywhere, does the word 'Dearly' enter into the title, apart from the so-called re-issue / boot copy. I see the UK release on Soul City has it as 'My Dear Beloved'. So, the difference then, is literally the inclusion or the absence of the word 'My' in the title. I'm going to guess it should be titled 'Dear Beloved' and that the mis-titled 'My Dear Beloved' is the rarer of the two and therefore fetches a bigger price. All depending on condition of course. Am I right. Or have I got it arse about face?

Have only ever seen about two or three and they have always been anywhere but the centre. Guess they weren't very accurate with their stamping.

UK Sue Demos, believe it or not, are stock copies, rubber stamped with a black letter A about 1" in height.

Cheers Brownie. That's a relief. Thought I'd sold an original Canadian Demo for £5 some years ago, thinking it was a boot. This scan proves to me that I DID sell a boot, as it looked exactly like this scan and NOT the Canadian Demo. Feel much better now.

I was aware of how the label looked, in as much as it was a black and white one. Was hoping for a scan really, to see the label design. Thanks anyway. Can somebody else help?

Aah, that's more like it. So, you think you saw one on eBay a while back? UK issue. Or was it a Demo? Pity you didn't keep a copy of the scan. Now, does it actually exist? Was it ever released? Or, if it does exist at all, is it just as a Demo, or a test pressing? If anybody has got a scan of it, please post it up. Ta.
