Hi Tommy, Yes, I seem to be okay with stuff up to about 1974. Not sure what year this one was released but it IS one of my all time favourites. No chance you have a 45 of this? Dennis. PS - How's things over there. Miss Oslo like you wouldn't know. All my love to Ingrid and Oskar. Was hoping to make it over as a Guest at Soggy's Mod Weekender but once again, my family holiday has taken precedence.

One of my favourite tracks but only have it on the Lp. Would much prefer the 45 if I can track one down and that's if it exists at all.

Yeah, my pal Kev found a minter less than a year ago at Spitafileld Market for £1. Sadly sold it for a large amount the same week before I had a chance to find out about it and buy it off him for myself. FCUK!!!

Roger Banks played it at the Hideaway Mod Weekender easily a year ago now. Not heard it since. Was tidying up my 'notes' on scraps of paper a couple of weeks ago and decided I'd try and track a copy down. Anybody out there with a copy for sale? PM me please.

My "more sought after" comment really referred to the AMAZING price fetched for the UK release. Wouldn't dream of arguing with you on the Backbeat being rarer. Partly 'cos I'm not that knowledgable on US imports, except perhaps the R&B stuff.

And strangely, for once, more sought after on UK than US. Not that I'm complaining, I like it that way.

Cheers. Thought as much. Having said that, it doesn't mean it wasn't released in the UK, just that it's valued at less than the UK Record Collector Price Guide minimum of £4 I think it was back in 2000? Personally, I don't think it got a UK release but this is just a quick but not necessarily accurate way of checking. Thanks again.

Was never released in the UK as a single, in either 78 or 45 rpm format. Couldn't swear to it not being issued as an Lp track in the UK but to date, I've never seen or heard of one.

Has anybody ever clapped eyes on a DEMO of this 45 on Okeh? I've seen a Demo 78 but NOT a Demo 45. Well, not as yet. If anybody has one, please, could you post up a scan?
