UK or US Verve Folkways??? Think it only got a UK release as an Lp track. But Id like to be corrected and told that it got a UK 45rpm release???

Yes, I know who you mean. And if it's the same chap, he's really a nice fella but his prices can be quite PRICEY. Still, doesn't seem to account for this anomoly.

Yeah, piles, after spending much of the weekend trying to find the afore mentioned wiring diagram. It's gonna take longer than I expected, now that you've finally got round to reminding me, as my room needs a good tidying up to find 'anything' in there these days.

Without individually valuing each and every record, is there some kind of rule of thumb method that can be used as a shortcut, say for insurance purposes, or just to estimate total value. I mean, would it be feasible to say that out of 8000 records, 1000 could be valued at an average of £50 each, whilst the rest could be valued at an average of say £20 each. Or is that too simplistic? I suppose it depends on the collectability of the collection. Anyhow, any thoughts? Who's going to kick start the conversation? Pete?

I think it's because he puts the effort in, by way of regularly presenting his sales in a neat, pleasing, informative manner, with good quality scans and sound files.
