  1. I know, I'm trying to attach the scan as we speak. Don't know what happened first time round?
  2. If you do, please state what the record is, or better still, send us a scan. Thanks. Denbo.
  3. Steve, You may have fixed a previous error on your site but is it still not the case that you've got the same recording on both sides? Waiting to hear Bella Mia but the sound file is the Picked Up Packed And Put Away. Denbo.
  4. And now St.Helens has one!!! Admittedly, not a 'Nighter' but 'knock your socks off' R&B nonetheless.
  5. Also came out on UK Mercury and I am after a copy. Can somebody / anybody oblige me with a copy? PM me if you can. Cheers.
  6. Yes, if it's not been used for a while the belt may have lost it's elasticity and is therefore operating ineffectively. Either that, or the potentiometer on the circuit board may need adjusting, to adjust the speed of the turntable slightly, which is done via two little holes in the base using a narrow philips screwdriver. But don't be too heavy handed when attempting this or you may separate the potentiometer from the circuit board itself. I think I may have done that on my spare SoundBurger. :o( My advice would be to check out the belt FIRST.
  7. Did you mean to say a Numark?
  8. Even better. So it probably DID get played at the Twisted Wheel. My old pal Phil Saxe used to DJ there for a short spell, during the week too, not so much the Nighters, so he might be able to shed some light on this rumour.
  9. 1969 eh? So that means the suggestion / rumour it was played at the Twisted Wheel could be true. What with the Wheel only closing down early 1971.
  10. What year was this record released, as there is a suggestion / rumour that it got played at the Twisted Wheel. Perhaps not at the Allnighter but during the week. Anybody else heard this suggestion / rumour?
  11. After listening to the You Tube link somebody posted earlier, does the Lp track sound exactly the same as the US 45 release?
  12. Hah, that's interesting. So, is the Lp track more orchestrated than the US 45 release? Or, are you saying, if you want a more earthy / gritty version, do as you've suggested, which applies to both the Lp track and the US 45 release?
  13. I'm pretty sure it came out on a UK Lp, presumably Verve. Are you, or anybody else, able to confirm that or quash that belief?
  14. Didn't see anybody else coming forward offering help with useless information.
  15. UK or US Verve Folkways??? Think it only got a UK release as an Lp track. But Id like to be corrected and told that it got a UK 45rpm release???
  16. Yes, I know who you mean. And if it's the same chap, he's really a nice fella but his prices can be quite PRICEY. Still, doesn't seem to account for this anomoly.
  17. Can't get the 'listen here' to work? It's okay now, all sorted. Nice record, wouldn't mind it in my collection.
  18. So that's two Big Maybelle white Demos I know of now. What condition is yours in?
  19. Must be in great shape. Please PM me. Thanks.
  20. What HAVEN'T you got??? :o)
  21. First choice: R&B If I couldn't have that, then a 'quiet' room where you can still here the music in the background for the Allnighter atmosphere but could buy / sell / talk about records.
  22. Was it not released on Stateside Ep? Also, I'm sure I have it on his 10" UK release?
  23. I wish it 'was' me being lazy. No, it's me working away Mon to Fri with only the weekends to get anything done.
