  1. Fair enough. Thanks for the explanation.
  2. Sorry mike if I broke the rules there, I honestly wasn't aware. So, I can't use the forum to ask members for copies of any kind of sound files? Or is it just mp3s?
  3. Thanks gogs.
  4. I wonder if they are one and the same person?
  5. I suppose if I had a complete run of the first one hundred TMG's as Mint issues with flat back G's AND the embossed KT, I'd be a happy man.
  6. Yes, but it's interesting that all the TMG Demos have the flat back G's, at least the red and whites and the green and whites do. Not so sure about the later black Demos?
  7. Thanks John. So, the absence of embossed lettering of any kind signifies what, I wonder?
  8. Yes, I tend to agree with you, but only because of the raised KT on the left one. Obviously you don't remember what it means either, otherwise you would have said something. I'm sure somebody out there will remind us.
  9. As far as I'm concerned, BOTH of those are original first press releases. If I didn't already have it, and providing it was Mint (ish), I'd be happy to add it to my collection of original first press releases. But like I said, that's me, there may be collectors out there who are even more fussy than that. By the way, I've forgotten what the embossed KT means in the middle of the four pronged centre on the one on the left?
  10. Correct. Flat back G's are the original first releases. Round back G's are later presses having the original release numbers.
  11. No! The rarest records haven't been found yet.
  12. Soulgirl85 has one for sale on here as we speak.
  13. I see. Wasn't aware of that. Thanks for posting.
  14. On the Saxo label perhaps?
  15. Thanks RobbK, I bow to your superior knowledge / experience. I based my comment on the fact that I'd never seen a white Demo before and judged that the colour variation to something that stands out a fair bit more than the usual orange (or subtle variations of orange), ie Pink, suggesting that it might be / probably was a Demo. It's good to have cleared that one up once and for all.
  16. It's coming along . . . . . very slowly I need to take a few months off work I reckon.
  17. For my money the pink copy is the Demo. Anybody else?
  18. We haven't established yet whether or not it's a Demo. And even if it is a Demo, does that necessarily make it rarer. I don't know. Depends on how well it sold after it got issued. Adds a bit a spice though, don't you think?
  19. Just took a listen to this on You Tube. Completely different record to the one I was thinking of; which I still can't remember?
  20. Is that a Demo? Only my copy is orange. My other LJH on Arvee is pink like this one but don't recall it being a Demo.
  21. Sure somebody else did this record too. Same title but perhaps not the same lyrics. I've got the other version but can't think who it's by? Having said that, I may be totally wrong. I mean, I haven't even had my morning coffee yet.
  22. Can anybody supply sound files for each of these please? I'd love to hear them.
  23. But I guess you'll always be left with a good proportion of records that either don't sell at all, or take absolutely forever to sell.
