  4. YES!!! I knew I was right. Thanks Rob.
  5. I haven't got a copy of the 'other' version so I like this one the best.
  6. Hmmm??? I'm going to get to the bottom of this 'cos like I said, I'm convinced mine reads Garland.
  7. Hi Mike, Nice to hear from you again after so long. Yes, I remember that. Tell me, does your Kick Off "Don't Worry About Dancing For Me" read Garlon or Garland Davis? Only, I'm convinced mine reads Garland but I can't check 'cos I'm away from home just now. I'm hoping to get some more responses to satisfy my doubts. Denbo.
  8. Thanks Dylan. But did the one on Kick Off get released with Garlon and Garland Davis on the label?
  9. Seen copies with Garlon Davis and one with Garland Davis. Can others confirm this? And, I take it the Kick Off and Merging labels are from the same stable? And did, by any chance, "Don't Worry About Dancing For Me" come out on Merging also?
  10. A very interesting report. Well dug out Mike. Makes me wonder whether we'll all take a greater interest in the world economy now that one of our own is doing reports on it as BBC's economic editor. :o) Well done Paul Mason.
  11. Pretty sure mine is a Slauson Shuffle B-side but not a demo. I'd have to check that when I get home at the weekend.
  12. Whilst the topic is about General Johnson. Does anybody know if his "Gods Gift To Man" was ever released 'somewhere' / 'anywhere' on a 45 or Ep? Perhaps even a test pressing?
  13. Awesome record. Pure Mayfield.
  14. But Ezzie, isn't that one by the Toys, not the Crystals?
  15. Never heard this one before. I've seen a copy but had no idea what it was like. Thanks for posting Andy. Brilliant.
  16. Oops yes, well spotted. January Majestic? Yes, I'm hoping to be there. Seeings how all my dental appointments are now finished.
  17. Hee Hee. Hey Tony, you still hanging onto that CD you did for me recently?
  18. See you in court. :D
  19. SIX. I have a list somewhere with all the owners of said SIX . . . . which happily includes ME.
  20. I have the following record; AVCO Embassy 4598 Donnie Elbert Ooh, Baby Baby Tell Her For Me 1972 But it actually plays "Come See About Me" by Donnie instead. Even the B-side has a different track by Donnie than that shown but I can't remember what it is. Anybody else got one of these?
  21. Of course!!!
  22. The last Okeh issue of Major Lance's "You Don't Want Me No More" went for $271 on the Net around September this year. What price now for a Canadian Epic release I wonder?
