They look more like 78s and Lps to me Craig. And as such, a little before my time.
The Old Swan branch of Music Box was one of my main haunts. Had many a crackin' UK labelled record from there.
Other than that, apart from one or two other record shops that sold new releases I can't remember the names of, it was Liverpool's 2nd hand record shops and junk shops every weekend that held my attention throughout the late 60s and early 70s.
How about ABC's Dot Records
ABC's Dunhill
ABC's Impulse
ABC's Apt
ABC's Tangerine
None of these subsidiaries either?
I have no reason to suspect it would be but you never know.
Wonder if it actually got released? Plus, can't find it in the US ABC / ABC Paramount listings?
I knew he wrote it Tone but I read somewhere that he didn't bother to record it himself. Obviously, that was wrong.
A scan and sound file would be absolutely wonderful if at all possible?
In that case, according to the scans above, mine's defo an issue.
Interesting note. This Jimmy Hughes release on Fame was distributed by Vee Jay, whereas the others, and I'm not saying all of them, were distributed by Atco / Atlantic.
The Dan Patrick is an oddity, in that it's a member of the Soul Supply Series on Stateside and doesn't / didn't sound like a soul record to me, well not the last time I played it. Pretty obscure I'd say. Is it in good nick?
If that's the case, can the receiver say the record was never received, because there is no signature, or a signature that's not theirs and claim compensation for an item that they say never arrived?
