    Which is odd, as you'd think it would be the other way round. I guess it depends on how many were sold before it was "withdrawn", which I'll admit, I didn't know about. Why was it withdrawn? When you say "version", is this reissue a slightly different version to the original release?

    Bummer, as it means I'm unlikely to get a scan of the label for my friend now. Unless of course, by chance, the person I sold it to is reading this post / thread.

    Like I told Pete Smith, it did get released cos I sold a copy from my personal collection back in 1986. It may have been scheduled for release but then they changed their minds perhaps but I'm telling you, some, if only the one I had, slipped out without being noticed. I might even be able to tell you who I sold it to, when, and for how much, as I kept paperwork on all my sales back then.

    What I meant was that there is a sudden flurry / surge of re-issues / boots being released almost all at once.

    But you make a valid point and I'd be a bit upset too if my intention was to play Arthur Griswold (which I also have a copy of on Fortune) a little later on, only to be pipped at the post by a re-issue. Oh well, I suppose it makes us work that bit harder to stay one step ahead of the game. Having said that, I'll bear your analogy in mind for November.

    Very good point. That's the least obvious but the most frustrating side effect concerning re-issues / boots.
