  1. Looks fine. But you have to scroll down to see the rest of the label scans. Is that how you intended it to be?
  2. I would have thought you'd be happier with the higher price tags Mace? As a dealer, with dam good contacts, a nose like a blood hound, and a work rate that would put Sir Chris Hoy to shame; well, you know the rest.
  3. I can't quite see / make it out. But are there 3 tracks per side on a set of 5 7" disks making up a set?
  4. Yes, it would. But I think it helps if the speed is reduced from 45rpm to 33.1/3rpm. Having said that, there will always be less space in which the grooves can move on a 7" record if you're cramming anywhere between 2 and 4 tracks per side, which will affect fidelity.
  5. So it's an American versus Europe terminology thing then? We called them EPs, they called them Mini LPs?
  6. That's because we call them EPs
  7. Was there some reason why they didn't call them EPs? ie Extended Plays
  8. So, did this guy you're on about have what, 3 or 4 copies? Sweet. And he's sold them all?
  9. Found this over the weekend, a Carlin Music Corporation, one-sided acetate of what appears to be “Without The One You Love” by the Four Tops & Supremes. It sounds a bit different to the released track to me. Does anybody else have a copy of this acetate to confirm whether or not it is indeed a slightly different version?
  10. Another one bites the dust. It was no wonder why I only collected UK releases back in the day.
  11. There's 8 copies ranging between $48 to $710 on CF I'd put it at around $400 to be honest. BUT, it depends on how patient and diligent you can be in order to nab a bargain over the long term. The flip's very good too.
  12. Check out Popsike and Collectors Frenzy for what it's sold for recently. Not heard of it having been pressed. Well, not yet, anyway.
  13. Cheers Tony. For the demo v issue update and that Prince Charles is Charles Sheffield. I don't think any of us knew that. Well I didn't for one.
  14. I was there too. Always a great start to the weekend.
  15. "Best Set Ever Spun" That's a tough one. There's been so many I couldn't single one out as my 'best ever'!!!
  16. Haven't seen this before. Where's it from? South Africa?
  17. Well spotted that man. Hadn't noticed that on the 'Irish' Polydor copy.
  18. VERY!!!
  19. Wow, what a great selection of records, c/w sound files for them all. It's like being in a record shop with a record player at your side. Am hoping to win a few but bidding is intense. Nice one Mike. You can see the effort you've put into all this. Well done.
  20. And I now have a nice mint issue.
  21. I hope I don't get myself into trouble with Juke Box Jam, or anybody else for that matter, but you have to think twice when you might be thinking they're 're-releasing' records for profit, when it could be for posterity. Just a thought. eg Now, I'm not saying I'm for it, or against it, just being the devil's advocate, to see what others think?
  22. Interesting topic. Nice one Dave.
  23. Could be more explicit?
