  1. Ian, What about Honey Cone, and Barrino Brothers, from the You Tube posting 'More Unreleased Invictus / Hot Wax. Why aren't they on your list above? Also, 9) Too Far To Reach - Dionne Warwick Acetate should read 9) Too Far To Reach - Dionne Warwick You Tube Clip and 5) Where There’s A Will (There’s A Way)- Chairmen Of The Board You Tube Clip should read 5) Where There Is Faith - Chairmen Of The Board You Tube Clip Finally, there's no 'e' at the end of Warwick.
  2. Does anybody know if General Johnson's "Gods Gift To Man" ever saw the light of day as a 45? Test pressing, acetate, etc? Maybe a 10" acetate instead?
  3. Apologies all round to all those who have bought off me on this occasion. I was hoping to get your records off to you before I left for a trip abroad early hours Thursday morning but failed miserably. I was then hoping to package them up Sunday evening when I got home (St.Helens), with a view to posting them off from London (where I work) during my lunch break on Monday. Unfortunately, my plane was badly delayed and I got home quite late. So, please bear with me and I'll get them all posted off this coming Friday, as I'm travelling home Thursday night. Once again, apologies all round. Dennis.

In the meantime, PM me (Dennis Haw) on Facebook, or email me at dennis.haw@gmail.com Russ29 - Kelly Brothers is yours. I'll PM you with further details.

  8. What condition was the previous copy on eBay Nev and how much did it sell for? It's okay Nev, found it. Looked in worse condition than the one sold last night and sold at 'best offer' for $2,800.
  9. Where's it on Kris, a friend of mine was asking.
  10. I've seen it already, with my pal Tony Rounce, courtesy of Ady Croasdell, who couldn't make it. A case of his unfortunate loss was most definitely my gain. I have to say, it was brilliant. Do NOT miss this, it's a MUST SEE documentary that leaves you hypnotised. I wouldn't mind watching it again to be honest.
  11. Does anybody know who compiled the A La Carte Volume sets? Was it one individual? Or, a collection of people all contributing to the 'project'?

  13. Allegedly released on UK Columbia. But don't know how true that is. Perhaps mythical?
  14. Sack him off Pete. Go for the one that you know is available. Then, if he comes back and confirms the full value, tell him why you went elsewhere. Perhaps it'll gee him up a bit next time. Also remember, even if you've ordered something, with Gemm you always have the option to cancel; unlike eBay.
  15. Hi Pete, Yes, I've got a copy of that. Not sure, as it's been a while, but I've seen more than just my own copy. But I'm only talking about one or two at best. Denbo.
  16. There you go Julian, you now have a plethora of contacts to help satisfy your curiosity.
  17. Try Mace, he helped pioneer this record, he may know something, or give you some pointers.
  18. Sebastian Williams & His Soul Men, Shucks, Red or Sky Blue Cotillion. What's the difference, apart from the spectral scale?
  19. Does this Sound Cloud recording jump for everybody around 1 hour 2 minutes? Or is it just my computer?
  20. I wasn't well off Gilly, just careful with my money. And NOBODY was going to take anything off me in those days. There weren't many Scousers on the scene in those days, but we looked out for each other wherever we were.
  21. Don't know where Chris Lalor got it from but it wasn't from me. He may have taken a copy off Tony Jebb, or perhaps taken the copy I gave to Tony? I still have the original cassette recorder that I recorded it on. Talk about being a hoarder.
