  5. Not the best image (taken from Popsike) but it's a UK issue, as previously mentioned, the rarest format. I love my UK Demo but I'd prefer a UK issue. Having said that, I've also got "Monkey See, Monkey Do", on a one-sided Mirasound Studios Inc. acetate, which I bought recently off Mike Hawkins. Thanks Mike.

  7. For some reason, I was expecting it to be a black label, even though I should have known better.
  8. Looks to me like everything you need for a more detailed feedback is already there. The only thing I'd suggest is some way to get more people to give feedback, as I don't think a lot of buyers are aware that the system is there to be used. Having said that, not everybody is inclined to leave feedback.

  10. I was thinking they were all yours, recently auctioned off. I thought, "blimey" what a great collection of records, and thought, "blinking heck", added all together, that's a lot of money.
  11. Did you auction these off on eBay mike? Is that why you've listed them here?

  15. Yes, I would say so.
  16. Good question To be honest, the Americans seemed more intent on getting rid of masses of Soul records back in those days, so I'd guess you'd be hard pressed to find too many mags, if any, covering Soul music specifically. I think it might have been a case of not knowing what they had before they lost it?
  17. When it comes to drug dealers and drug addicts, which came first, the chicken or the egg? I know . . . I'll call a taxi

  19. Okay Malcolm, thanks. If I can't track him down then I'll have to find some other way of finding out what recordings his dad did on acetates, as I have one here that may well be one of his.
  20. As a British label collector, I like red and white Demos too, who wouldn't. What I wouldn't like though is a whole collection of nothing but red and white Demos. That would be so boring.
  21. Yes, I remember that. I hesitated for a moment and lost out.
  22. Oh dear, I see. That's just not right. Luckily, for me, I just want some information about a possible recording his dad made in New York.
  23. Oh, have I touched a nerve? Sorry if I have. Was genuinely looking to source some information about a possible unknown recording by his dad. What's afoot?
