  1. So how do you find that out Pete. And if the guy wants to, can't he just lie about it being there and blame it all on confusion later? And should that Delta number be impressed or scratched?
  2. Would any of you say that either of the two on popsike are boots? 'Cos they are both different to each other and different again to the one on eBay. How can you ever be sure? I've seen plenty of issues and demos of all kinds of imports that all have subtle differences. They must get pressed all over the place and every presser seems to have a slightly different label design. Very confusing, which is why I think, many many years ago, I decided that it was safer just to collect UK releases only. Sadly, that has changed after realising that most of what I want now never ever saw the light of day over here, even as obscure Lp tracks. Incidentally, just showing my ignorance of Northern stuff on US labels here now, but did this ever get issued, or are they all Demos?
  3. Can anybody please oblige?
  4. Hi phild, Do you have General Johnson - 'Gods Gift To Man' amongst that lot of test pressings and quality control presses (from Capitol Record pressing, Sonic productions etc etc) including a number of unreleased items? If so, can I buy it from you? DENBO.
  5. Thanks LarsC, but I don't think I fully understood what you said. When you said "If you're lucky there's a testpress or european issue floating around, it has happened before with this label." did you mean there IS a testpress or european issue floating around, or did you mean there MIGHT be a testpress or european issue floating around? Just want to be FULLY clear about this before I start building my hopes up. Cheers matey, DENBO.
  6. Hi LarsC, Unfortunately, I cannot help you with any of the above BUT you might be able to help ME, especially seeings how you collect Invictus. Can you tell me if General Johnson - Gods Gift To Man came out on a 45? Either as a regular release, or as a withdrawn single sided or same sided Demo, whatever? Thanks in advance, Denbo.
  7. PinkyPerky Thanks very much indeed for the Captions soundbyte. Any chance you wanna sell it, that is if it's a 'hardcopy' and not a 'soundbyte'? Anytime. Just let me know.
  8. Hi, Thanks very much indeed. You don't have a recording the flipside too do you??? Please please please :o)

  10. Hi Folks, Me again. I'm thinking of going to work in Houston, Texas for about 6 months and wondered if there was anybody out there on this Forum that could recommend some good shops / places / people in the area that I could go visit / see for records at the weekends? Thanks.

  14. No matter how much I dislike a record, I would NEVER break it or damage it on purpose!!! Records are the Holy Grail to me. No matter how much you might dislike a record there will always be 'somebody else somewhere' that will like it and perhaps even cherish it. If you've got a record you dislike THAT much, don't break it, give it away to somebody that does like it, or sell it to a dealer for buttons and let somebody else have the opportunity to own it.
  15. Cheers matey, will do.
  16. Great tune AJ.

  23. Hi Kev, Good to see you back up and running.
  24. Well done Pete. That's very useful. Thanks. But you watch, you'll get some that will add extras on for their time, certain other overheads, petrol to Post Office and back for example, etc, etc, based on the fact that they are 'running a business'. Which, within limits, is understandable. The cost of p&p when selling by collectors is kept low because, well that's just the way we are. But 'dealers' see it differently. I know you buy and sell just like a dealer but you still think like a collector. I only wish everybody else did too. I'm currently arguing about p&p from the States at nearly $13. Yes, 13 effin Dollars.
  25. Nice one. Never even seen an import of it before. Now I've seen both in one. Actually, I meant a UK Demo of the Instrumental. Get out of that one
