  1. VG or better. Pm if you have one for sale.
  2. pm with condition and price if you have this available thanks.
  3. Haha, that is a classic Vancouver experience, wandering from west to east Hastings. People are often taken aback by Vancouver's Downtown Eastside neighbourhood (where you wandered in to). It has long been known for its extremely concentrated poverty and high levels of open drug use. It has also been hit particularly hard by the fentanyl crisis. Despite how crazy it looks, it is actually not a very dangerous neighbourhood, particularly for outsiders, unless you are looking for trouble. I am probably biased in this assessment as I am used to the neighbourhood and I am in it for various reasons relatively often. I never personally feel unsafe down there. I understand how it could be shocking to those who have never seen it before. Beat Street is definitely a cool store, my second recommendation after Neptoon for sure. You didn't miss much with Vinyl
  4. Hey, You are missing BHSC 4 year anniversary party that is happening the weekend after you are there, too bad. Boss Takeover is on hiatus at the moment I believe. There is a scooter rally that weekend in Vancouver, there might be some soul related DJ events attached to that, but I have not heard any specifics. Here is the facebook event for it: https://www.facebook.com/events/375226786523669/ Kimberlite artists are from Edmonton, 12 hours away. We have been looking at getting them down to Vancouver, but that is in very preliminary stages at the moment. It is indeed slim pickings for soul records in Vancouver, but stuff turns up from time to time.
  5. When will you be in town? Best record store to visit in Vancouver proper would be Neptoon Records (3561 Main St)
  6. Hey looking for this Ska classic... soulful enough to ask about on this page I figure. DM with condition/price if you have one for sale... thanks.
  7. pm with price/condition if you have one available.
  8. Still after this one. VG or better, please dm if you can help.
  9. Looking for this stellar double sider, pm me with price and condition if you have one you are willing to part with.
  10. I know this isn't exactly a soul record. But thought I'd try. I want the Blues Busters version, not the faster Keith and Ken version. Jamaican press or US press is fine. If you have one available PM with price and condition. Thanks.
  11. They should.
  12. Yeah, I was pretty sure that the bidders on that could easily just go on over to discogs and pick up a NM copy of that version for 25 USD (or an issue for 5). The Carolina Soul auctions seem to drive people to madness, I often see people paying top dollar or more for G copies of stuff in those auctions. Admittedly CS grades conservatively, but still.
  13. Am I missing something here? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Northern-Soul-45-Spiral-Starecase-More-Today-Than-Yesterday-Columbia-mp3/382453772149?hash=item590c056f75:g:klAAAOSwLjRa7LC4
