  16. Hi Nev, Not sure where your coming from on this one - respect your opinion on the record, but quote - "Somewhere along the line weve lost the whole soulful plot imho????", and "not this tryin to discover something that sounds like them 100 mile an hr stuff from 30 yrs back" un-quote. "Mr Lucky" - one of my fav's personally love "Neal Kimble" but the above comment's IMO regard's Karen
  17. Not forgetting his early recording's - Oscar Perry - I found true love -Lee J Karen
  18. Look's like your going to be very busy for the next week or so Joan Would like one myself if you get a mo please.. Karen
  19. One of many for me is Gwen Owens - Wanted and needed. Karen
  20. Yes your right Chalky generally plays it in his set's - Fabulous dancer has you up on the dance floor from the instant you hear intro, one of those I'll never get bored off Karen
  21. Great record Chalky plays it in his set, sound's excellent out, Chalky is an expert on Kell's history If your a fan Another of his excellent track's if you've not had a chance to hear it is IMO - "Small things" Karen
  22. I had a Powertree demo sold it privately for £300. a couple of year's back. POWERTREE DEMO was on 2 white sticker's that met across the top, above the address. Found out later with the kind help from other ss member's that underneath the sticker was a KNOX Issue I had never been brave enough to remove it, but other's had. I read the PT demo was a world one off - thank god it turned out not to be so, as I'd already sold mine. The Knox Issue is the first release, then the intentional Powertree Demo is actually a Knox Issue with a PT demo sticker covering the Knox - then you have the Powertree Issue. Then I got another surprise - Martyn a ss member told me he was the guy that I'd originally bought my copy from - he found it in a second hand store in U.S.A - he left about a dozen behind..... Just as a matter of interest and collector's who like me - love foreign stuff - it also came out on Dutch C.N.R and Belgium Cardinal label. If interested Michel Capon, (can't remember correct spelling) from Belgium, (will find his number if your interested) had a copy for sale, though think he'd sold it last time I spoke to him. Label scan's of each....
  23. Thank's for posting Richard - though tbh not that good IMO.... Karen
  24. Just read on Soulful kinda music that -The Holiday's were - Eddie Anderson - Steve Mancha - J J Barnes - and Edwin Star's vocal's were overdubbed on to the record. The recording was, "I'll love you forever /Makin up time" on Golden World 36 (1966) The New Holiday's - "I've lost you" - Groove City 206 (1969) Dosen't list the artist's involved!!! Karen
