I just put them in a 100 box and add some cardboard to pack it out.
Never had more than 500 at one time in my life.
I have never been able to afford to keep my records. Always been skint.
How to keep your records and not always be skint
ANSWER
Yes you've got it Phil = CUPCAKES

Saw him a few year's ago in Halfords, the last time I saw him, he crossed the road at Foss Island. May have retired now. Sure if he had any desires to be out on the scene again he would be. Thing's have changed so much since the old day's, some prefer it as it was...

By what degree does the 70's trait of someone engraving their name in the run out reduce the value of a 45?
I remember this happening a few times back in the late 70's early 80's. Occasionally if a record was lent to a mate their name may mysteriously appear in the run out. I agree with Pete, in that it wouldn't effect the value.
Taking into account the age of these addictive 45's with label's to excite collector's as they do me, it's amazing they are still around

Just wondered if anyone had thought about the smoking ban as a reason for attendances down.We don't smoke ourselves, but a lot of people do,has it made a difference?
Why would a smoking ban affect attendance's to a venue If you have a genuine love of the music, enjoy hearing/dancing to it, the record bar, socialising... a small thing like smoking shouldn't have any effect...

Remember the old adage - "Be careful what you wish for, because you might just get it"....
"Another's" name in thick pen across the label possibly

I've always collected, when able, never once have I done it to want to be a DJ. Why would I buy a record I thought to be rubbish, just because I thought it would fill a dancefloor somewhere?
Maybe thats just me.
Maybe you know your own mind, have self respect and don't follow other's like sheep

Trying to find out some history on this classic label, can any of you knowledgable people help, or point me in the right direction, thanks in advance
My lonely feeling - Milton James nothing else to say... 1966.
Morning Harry,
Little bit of info I can offer is there release's start 1958 no: 2000 "Tony & Jo - The freeze" - 1987 no unknown - "Eddie Kool - I look in the mirror". Not 100 percent but think a connection to ERA. Address Lou Bedell, Herb Newman. 1481, N.Vine (at Sunset), Hollywood, CA. Too many release's to list, but some excellent reference book's out there to study with.
Hope this help's a little bit.

Marvin at his best - my favourite all time artist and the one whom I would above any person past or present wish to meet.
Though his singing ability was enough on it's own, he had an inner depth, which interest's me greatly, though sadly this also appeared to have a negative effect on him..
Apart from his voice, mind and performing skill's he was very good looking when he was younger too...
"What's going on" is my favourite - quite ironic that his own life was taken by the hand of his own father....
Marvin and Tammi - well what can I say the chemistry between them is just electric...
What little gem's have we missed - had he been alive today - who know's, his best work we have probably had the privilage and pleasure of already...
