  2. Hi Steve,i was the first person to pay over 1k for the profesionals when i got it of J.Manship several years ago,i paid £1,100 for it. I well and truely got my balls chewed off at the time for hiking up the price. I dont understand why people dont play the flipside of the soulettes, its much slower and a great side. Chris. .

  8. When listening to Bobby Wilburn i ask myself why did this bomb like it did on both occasions.Having just read about him and that he was a very private person and his day job was an engineer on the railway, that maybe he was a victim of his own privacy. The dilemma for those fortunate to own the record is which side do you drop the needle on.
  9. If the soulettes is in good nick Ted,i think £1200 is great price considering its rarity. Chris.

  14. Baz has hit the nail on the head when using Jj Barnes as an example of cross over. When the term cross over was originally used,it was narrowed down to songs recorded between 1968 and 1972. Chris.
  15. I totaly agree with you Ted,this is not and never has been a particularly rare record.Like yourself,i think the buyer will regret the amount they pay for it.
  16. Thanks for the reply.
