    Color One Tear Black

The next Color One Tear Black is on Sunday 10th April, with guests Mandieand Michael Daniel bringing the soulful heat. Mandie and Michael are long-time favourites at both Color One Tear Black and Carib Soul, and for very good reason – it's always a fantastic and broad selection whenever they play. COTB residents Claire Kalvis, Jim Edwards and David Hill will be spinning alongside Mandie and Michael. Color One Tear Black

Following our debut session at The Paradise with the excellent Steven Clancy guesting, Color One Tear Black returns on Sunday 13th March with Val Palmer and Chris Payne bringing the 45s heat. Most of you will know Val from her long commitment to DJing soul music in its various shades. Chris, you might not – he is a died-in-the-wool collector of impeccable taste whose selections can be heard on Mixcloud under the name agent00banana. Val and Chris will be joining COTB residents, Claire Kalvis and David Hill. Color One Tear Black

We are very pleased to announce that we are back once more at Brilliant Corners in Dalston. Our Guest will be the interminable collector, Brett Franklin of Sheffield. He has agreed to stick to the program and dig deep into his deep and mid-tempo soul, group harmonies, and ballads for some very fine selections . . . Also playing records on the day, a late addition to the fun is Mark Allbones sharing some of his gems, so we're very much looking forward to that!! The venue is fantastic, providing a nice range of food and drinks, and importantly an audiophile sound system that is one of the best in London, to hear these records in a way that does them the justice they deserve.

    Color One Tear Black

It’s been a while… we fully intend to kick-off where we left off, and what better way to do that than to have Carib Soul in the house! With Del, Michael & Mandie sharing gems from their collections, we await this nailed-on musical treat for the long anticipated return of COTB. As those of you who made it to our last event all that time ago will know, the venue is fantastic, providing a nice range or food and drinks, and importantly an audiophile sound system that is one of the best in London, to hear these records in a way that does them the justice they deserve. Be aware that booking is advised to secure a table through https://brilliantcorners.dinesuperb.com/, as it will be sitting only - but you can also turn up on the day, and there is plenty of room to accommodate. See the event page on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/events/970863580384578 Hope to see you on the 30th!
  10. My other Soul Source profile seems to have disapeared, but going to use this one - Please PM if you have a copy of this to sell. Cheers, Jim
