Phoenix Northern Soul Club Christmas Cracker with two top DJs in Howard Sorsby (Samanthas) and the one and only Neil Page. After last months event being an absolute top notch night with Ben Owen fresh from gracing the Blackpool Tower Decks we have a big night planned for the dancers, Across the board Northern Soul with a smuttering of Motown and R&B bringing back the glory days on this excellent dancefloor. The Phoenix Northern Soul Club, still buzzing from our October Event we now confirm the November event with yet another Top Guest DJ in Ben Owen who has played some of the biggest and best venues across the UK including Blackpool Tower and Whitchurch All-Nighter. Supporting Ben are our residents Andy Allen, Dave Shelton, Sheffield Soul Girl Amy Hodkin and Dave Pearce. We bring an night full of surprises and excellent tunes from years past all for just £4 !

We hold our monthly event on the 4th Friday of every month bringing an eclectic music range for everyone with some brilliant guest djs bringing that little something different on a monthly basis. Mark Holdsworth from Batley RAFA club is our special guest supported by Neil Hardwick from Dronfield with his box of black gold, a night not to be missed. A friendly atmosphere where you can meet new friends and listen to some great music. This is a lovely venue with a great dance floor and very reasonable bar prices with loads of onsite parking. The Phoenix Northern Soul Clubs monthly event, as always the 4th Friday of every month now entering our 5th year. On Friday 25th August we have an excellent event planned with Guest Djs Craig Patterson (Gas Club) along side resident djs, Andy Allen, Dave Shelton, Amy Hodkin, Tom Ritchie, Neil Page, and Dave Pearce. This month sees our annual Charity handover to Ashgate Hospice and Macmillan Nurses being the benefactors of our annual efforts. We are hoping to have a professional photographer taking portrait pictures for a small fee towards our charity effort along with an excellent raffle with some absolutely tip top prizes, Mick Gigs from North Wingfield Soul Club has donated a pack of 10 records, Originals and Promos, Salvatore from Hasland Soul Club also donated a lovely bottle of wine along with many others, you gotta be innit to winnit! Still only £4 otd, what a night this plans to be, we welcome new and old friends.

On Friday July 28th sees our club continue to grow with another offering of top Northern Soul and Tamla Motown, this months guest from the sunny side of Chesterfield is Terry Westhead (Soul Shack) bringing his own hour of greatness to our decks. To top off this night our residents will be playing the tunes to make a busy dance floor with Classics, Tamla, 100MPH with a smuttering or rare. Our entrance is still just £4 , one of the best dance floors in the area, very reasonable bar prices and on site free parking. Last Month we saw 2 Guest Djs in Jim Fox and Neil Page bring an absolute stormer of a night to the Phoenix and we hope to give you much the same, an across the board Soul Night. August brings yet another top dj, Craig Patterson. Continuing to support 2 cancer charities, Ashgate Hospice and Macmillan Nurses.

The Phoenix Northern Soul Club, this months guest Dj from North Notts, Jim Fox and Chesterfields own Neil Page, with our very own Dave Shelton, supported by Andy Allen and Dave Pearce. We dont have a play policy, just keep a happy flowing dance floor! In respect of our regular attenders we will carry on with this event even though Brid weekender is on too, not everyone goes there, do they? We really do appreciate your support as this and our previous events are helping local cancer charities. THE FOUTH FRIDAY EVERY MONTH. The Phoenix Northern Soul Club, following our march event we now look forward to putting on another top night, Guest DJs this month will be Neil Page, Moz Mosley, Amy Hodkin, supported by Residents Andy Allen and Dave Pearce. Our event in March was an absolutely top night headlined by Sam Evans bringing her style tunes and high energy, a proper Lady Dj. Looking forward to our April Event which again promises a great night for the dancers, Neil page back by demand with the return of Amy Hodkin and new face to the Phoenix is Moz Mosley. Again, we will be collecting medical items for the Ukraine if you would like to bring bandages, plasters, cough medicine etc.

Special Guest is the great Sam Evans from Leicester supported by our very own Dave Shelton, Andy Allen and Dave Pearce. as normal we promise to bring another top night of soul to keep you dancing and foot tappin all night, Northern Soul Oldies, R&B, Motown, a few rare and under played. Something to suit all. Raising monies for Ashgate Hospice and Macmillan Nurses.

Our great little club in the Capital of the North continues to go from Strength to Strength, in this excellent venue. Last month had an excellent turnout with the absolute tops in music and a great crowd who danced the whole night. Come along and join us, meet new and old friends,
