The Phoenix Northern Soul Club (4th Friday club) rides again on the 28th March with an iconic guest dj, Craig Patteron(Gas Club) The night is arranged to prompt a busy dance floor with an excellent policy of"Keep em dancin" with djs playing everything from club classics with a smuttering of Motown, R&B with a slither of Cleethorpes, The Torch and Wigan for memory sake. Come along and join us, the venue is of "No Talc" but the floor does not need talc anyway. There is ample free onsite parking and excellent bar prices, see you there.

Arkwright Soul Club, (1st Saturday every month) The Phoenix flies again at this great venue, Andy Allen and Dave Shelton along with Guest Dj Talcman, playing on vinyl only. A great night out at Arkwright Club, great atmosphere with probably the cheapest drinks at any soul night, free parking.

Ashover Has Soul, 70s, 80s and 90s Disco/ Soul Dance night. Adults Dance Night Come along and relive those care free nights at your local Night Club, dont forget your handbag, youll need it to dance around! A night organised to bring back memories with friends and family with an excellent Sound and Light Show by Sounds Sensational. The Phoenix Northern Soul Club now in our 6th year, our monthly soul night is held on the 4th Friday of every month with residents Andy Allen, Dave Shelton and Dave Pearce along with an invited guest dj, this months Guest Dj is none other than Sheffiled Samanthas Howard Sorsby who since his return to the decks has quickly become an absolute favorite amongst our regulars offering a great insight into his view on soul music and memories from a bygone era. The venue itself has an excellent polished dance floor and requires no talc in a warm comfortable venue.

Thank you to everyone who supported us at our first event at Arkwright, we now bring our second soul night and will continue to do our monthly nights at this lovely venue. We will be inviting monthly guest djs, this month we have the great "Neil Page" an firm favorite of Phoenix Soul and further more Paul Wright who holds an equally excellent record collection with myself and Dave Shelton in support bringing together an excellent across the board soul night.

The Phoenix Northern Soul Club, Friday 26th July, bringing another monthly event filled with quality Northern Soul, Tamla, R&B and Club Favorites. This is an excellent venue with one of the best dance floors in the area with an excellent well stocked bar with very reasonable prices and free on site parking. DJs playing an excellent mix across the board with the aim of keeping a busy dance floor, everyone is welcome to our monthly charity events with profits going to two local cancer charities Macmillan Nurses and Ashgate Hospice.

Open Decks (Vinyl Only) afternoon giving the opportunity for those with Soul Vinyl the stage to bring along and play your favorite 12 tunes. Regardless of ability we give you the stage to play on double decks to an audience who are receptive to soul music probably not heard too often at soul nights up and down the country and beyond. No-one will be judging you but giving you confidence as you play your tunes, free entry, free parking and reasonable bar prices.

Our third Open decks afternoon where you have an open invite to bring along 12 of your favorite Northern Soul/Motown vinyls, regardless of ability please feel free to bring along a dozen of your soul records and play them for like minded soulies. No-one is judging, just enjoying
