I'm far too young to know of Simon personally but have loved reading the stories about him from Frank(Ian) et al. I love characters and rogues and he seems to me that he was just that, a rogue. He didn't kill anyone, didn't rape anyone, etc. He ripped people off, yes and those he ripped off had/have a right to be angry of course but it would be great if he could tell his side of the story one day whether it be here, in a book, documentary. It won't happen on here though as people would just rip into him, same as they did with Ian Levine. Both men were important figures in the history of northern soul, love em or hate em. Don't let your hatred deny us younger ones the chance to hear/read/see the history of this great music and scene.
