The Hip City team return for our second night at this fabulous, intimate venue. The Loft Bar at 23 Bath Street, Frome, Somerset, BA11 1DJ is a brilliant space for a soul club. Nice dance floor, bar and great atmosphere. Expect Northern Soul monsters, Tamla Motown classics, R&B dancers and a dash of Latin Soul all played on original vinyl. The tunes will be spinning from 7.30pm till 12.30am. Our first night here was really busy. The Loft Bar only holds 80 people so buying tickets in advance through the venue’s website is really recommended here plus you get in cheaper. The Hip City crew are finally coming to Wells due to popular demand! This is our first soul night in the historic city of Wells. We will be bringing you Northern Soul stompers, R&B shufflers, Motown monsters and a dash of Blues and Latin Soul. All played on the vinyl is came out on. We are pleased to be joined by Mr Tim Hayhoe founder of the ever popular West Wilts Soul Club who will bring some of his fabulous rare gems to play. Tramways is an excellent venue right in the heart of Wells. It has a fantastic dance floor and great bar prices. Excellent transport links to Wells and lots of places to stay. Only £5 on the door.

Something for everyone. Jorge will be back from his sabbatical, and we will be joined once again by Steve Riley fresh from signing copies of his paperback edition of The Truth About Northern Soul. Just a reminder then, because it has been ages. We are a small club out in the sticks, but we are dedicated and passionate about what we do. We play records, not a laptop in sight! The Unionist Club has a great wooden dance floor, separate bar area and large gardens for a chat and chill out. Now going into our third year. We can’t wait to see all our regulars again. Now in our third year, Brutons Got Soul returns for our first night of 2020. Into 2020 and who is missing their soul fix? We kick off the new year with a night of the best Tamla Motown, Northern Soul and R&B at the Unionist Club in Bruton all played on vinyl. Great wooden dance floor, great crowd and decent bar prices.
