I was there that night ( with Mrs B as well) Not in the photo on the LP cover as I was on the stage with Chris Burton, Minshull, Levine, Ellis,Cokell,Day, Otis Leavill etc etc.
Great night - saw him at his first show of the tour in Halifax - bloody useless - the backing group that Contempo had supplied didn't know the songs etc. We got them to listen to them from a Major LP I had with me and things got better. They were the backing track on the LP recorded at the Torch
Still got the LP - The Rhythm of Major Lance - Columbia 1728 signed copy ' To Julian from a friend always Major Lance' + got the Stoke LP as well.
