I was there that night ( with Mrs B as well) Not in the photo on the LP cover as I was on the stage with Chris Burton, Minshull, Levine, Ellis,Cokell,Day, Otis Leavill etc etc. Great night - saw him at his first show of the tour in Halifax - bloody useless - the backing group that Contempo had supplied didn't know the songs etc. We got them to listen to them from a Major LP I had with me and things got better. They were the backing track on the LP recorded at the Torch Still got the LP - The Rhythm of Major Lance - Columbia 1728 signed copy ' To Julian from a friend always Major Lance' + got the Stoke LP as well. 15. Bloody hell, I started this thread ages ago. Welcome to Mr Phillips - Hi Brian how are you ( not seen you for a couple of months now). I believe it was a rumour a few years ago that Docker had died - incorrect as I recall as he was alive and kicking and quite upset to be 'written off' !! Alan S died a couple of years after the filming of SWONS ( think it was some form of cancer - he did tell me at the time but my memory is crap). Like Brian, I met Alan again in Manchester at the SWONS filming - also present that night were Frank Elson, Andy Simpson, Kegsy, Martyn Ellis,Andy Hanley etc etc and thereby started my love affair with NS again. Julian

  22. Well, it looks like I either didn't offer enough to reach your reserve prices or was outbid on the items I was interested in. An acknowledgement or a simple thank you for showing interest in your items would have been nice Good manners cost nothing.
